Not sure how tied into the program your friend is. But according to one of the coaches I know very well, not Crabtree, Bama is in play.

He doesn't pass the eyeball test for me. I don't think he's tough enough. Seriously.

I feel the same way about this guy - LINK

These guys aren't tough enough.

Holy shite. I was at that game at Vandy stadium. I was young but remember it well. Hville was so damn excited for that game. We tailgated all day as my parents are HHS alumni.

ETA: hold on, it was at Vandy right? BlueCross BlueShield Bowl right?

Cheers to you I miss home

Don't get to excited. You can't compare the 2 backs. TN football isn't even close to what Fournette plays against.

Yea it's Murfreesboro Oakland. I played against Riverdale in the Boro and that was a fun place to play.

Meh, he does for me.

He will be awesome. He will add like 20 more lbs to that frame at least and he is super athletic. He's 6'2" and catches the ball like a WR as well.

We'll see...I hope he goes to Florida or an SEC West school that's not us.

No, I'm serious, bud...I don't think he's tough enough to ball in the SEC, so I hope he goes to a school that LSU plays annually...I hope he gets the starting job there, too.

I could be wrong. It's an IMO thing.

You want a 5* #2 ranked RB in the country to go to a school we play every year? A player who nick Saban, les miles, urban Meyer, and muschamp offered and are actively recruiting?

That might be the dumbest thing I've read in a while.

It's only dumb if you're assuming he's going to be the real deal, which I am not assuming. And if my assumption is correct, which we will have no idea of for a few years, then it's anything but dumb for me to want to face off against that player while he's in college.

Take some deep breathes...no one is attacking you.

Honestly, after watching film on him, I like him at WR. If he signs with OSU, he could definitely play a Percy Harvin role for Meyer.

Yeah, maybe...I have no idea about that.

But I'd be willing to make a gentlemen's bet with you two that he won't end up at EITHER LSU or Bama. His hype coming out is going to cause him to be taken as the feature back in a team's class, and neither of the top dog's are going to risk taking him as that will all of the other talent at RB coming up in 2014. Les and Coach Mulligan aren't going to extend him committable offers unless he has success at another position, which you've mentioned, or unless his stock falls and they can take him as the 2nd or 3rd back in their class. 3rd is more likely, although still unlikely, IMO.
