It would really suck to not get this talent, but I am feeling what others are suggesting here. I hope I’m wrong.

Wow. I know he has all the talent in the world, but this is concerning. This can't be good for the locker room.

I didn't see this being discussed earlier when I was posted in another thread about St. Aug.

The first Black player from Louisiana was Mike Williams from Covington(1972). Went on to play in the NFL for the Chargers.

Hold up let’s stop this narrative. He is a great kid. He came to St. Aug in 8th grade. Never was at ESJ HS.

Thanks for clarifying. Does he still live in Reserve, just curious.

The LSU clip was emptied and everything was cool...

They will need a bigger clip now though!

There's a new player in town...

USC # 1

Phil Knight University is making a push now!

They are moving up to # 2...

2 former Pac 12 members with with donors that can stand toe to toe with any school!

It's about the other things on the checklist for the player now!

I don't pretend I can predict the future but I definitely recite accurate history and current events!

If it’s all about who pays the most, then Stewart can go that route. It won’t be here. He would do just fine NIL wise coming to LSU and being developed by Bo Davis. He would also get to play in the best conference in college football. Kids from all over the country come to the SEC to play and compete against the best. Maybe he doesn’t want that.

Could be true, no reason to think otherwise. That said, he's allowing himself to be lead around by idiots if thats the case. "Great" kids, or teammates, don't bail on a program they've been at since 9th grade the week of game 1. Particularly when this possibility has been talked about since fricking April. He and his team couldn't have made this decision sooner as to not disrespect his coaches and teammates?
Sounds like you're "Knighting" for him and his mentor. Pun intended.

His handler controls everything and from what I’m told some “uncle”. Kid wants to be a St. Aug but I’m sure some deal was cut so the family can’t back out. 80% sure of this

Stewart is of the Landon Collin’s, Speedy Noil Type…etc etc. He doesn’t want to play for LSU. You have kids that come along that have no desire to put on the purple & Gold. Is what it is!
It reeks of the mind set of "I'm too good to stay in state". This type of recruiting is not worth the trouble for just one defensive lineman who we have no clue how he'll perform at the next level.

The handler i heard went to Karr so that's plausible but he would definitely be ineligible to play football anywhere in the state of Louisiana.
