Isn’t one of their biggest boosters under investigation? Clearly isn’t hurting much regardless.

John Ruiz. Under securities fraud investigation. Big-time scumbag. Personal injury attorney turned insurance scam artist. Now it looks like he's added pump and dump to his resume.

That’s all you have to do now. Have a group of boosters willing to pay up. We can clearly see who the future contenders will be based on the past two cycles

I’m alright with this, if we don’t get Moore anyone else will not start at LSU. These guys are looking at the QB room first, any 5* will get a NIL deal, with Nuss & Walker even JD has a year left. I truly believe the staff is all in on Sayin & Lagway, they have already made big impressions on both, we will be fine without Moore or Rashada and probably won’t see either unless bowl or playoffs. Miami’s QB room is weak after this year’s starter, Oregon a little stronger but Nix is projected starter and he’ll b gone soon. Our QB room is stout and young guns ready to go. This staff knows what they’re doing, concentrating on OL immediately and Sloan is a boss impressing recruits and their parents in the short time he’s been here. I’m always nervous about recruiting but this staff is way smarter than me and they are ALIGNED.

I kind of like Miami being good again because Bama has benefited the most getting players from South Florida with the hurricanes being down all these years.

We have a power prominent booster from the area that helped us get guys like Patrick Peterson. I'd say it would hurt us too as LSU historically likes to push around that area for some prime cherry picked prospects.

I understand what you are saying but we don’t get a lot of south Florida kids the way bama has been lately. We got Patrick Peterson back in the 2008 class.

The type of kids that pick schools based mostly off NIL are not the type of kids that bring home hardware. You need a couple of those on your roster, of course. But every kid you pay, you're gonna have to play. If not the next school gets a more developed and mature player for a fraction of what you paid. That's how this is gonna turn out for schools like Miami and Texas.

Dude took $9.5m to go to Miami over Florida who offered $11m.

Dudes don’t even want to go to Florida for the money.

I can't believe a college qb is getting 11mil.

Cam Newton didn’t even get that from the Patriots, amateur college football is gone as we knew it

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around these numbers. Is there anything the prospect does in return besides play? Isn't even that illegal?

Also, what does the next 5 star they go after get? Are college teams expected to have $30 million invested into their QB room?

This entire thing is nonsense. If this is left unchanged for another recruiting cycle, I wouldn't be surprised to see the system collapse.

Arch probably already had like 20M in his trust fund. i doubt texas paid much if anything.
