i am not trying to flame at all...but when listening to Miles' press conference and when he was asked by a reporter about why he could not mention Randle by name when going over the class he adressed this question by then saying that the papers were not there yet but on the way and said:
quote:

"I have had some confirming conversations so I'm pretty trustworthy," Miles said, after noting one in-state player remains unaccounted for in a 2009 recruiting class ranked by the national services as one of the nation's best. "I spoke with the dad and it's being directed this way so far as I know," Miles added.

im not saying JJ isn't coming here bc i think he is...but im just saying that this article is a bit mislead.....no?
again i would love to be wrong here

that's how Miles speaks...very capable, and talented, yet very vague in victory

I'd be interested in this if I were a Tennessee fan.

The answer is you heard irrational hubris from your 33 year old douchebag of a coach and the offspring of a respected poster who has backed off from his comments.

So you have about as much of a chance of signing Jackson as we had at Trent Richardson. Actually less.

Let's just say that at least with the TR saga, we had a recruit on national TV say that he spoke TO THE RECRUIT and hint that TR would go to LSU if SM did.

Here, we have a wet behind the ears coach express confidence on ESPN that he "has a good shot" at JJ coupled with the son of a respected poster using daddy's log-on to stir shite up.

We'll be alright here.

Why? Because of the statements of an immature new HC at Tennessee? Or because of the postings of an 18 year-old that filtered down through the channels to the Tennessee boards and to TD.com

Not important. What's important is that he later corrected it and said he was "guessing."
