But I disagree with teh co #1 thing. I think that Texas is the leader. I will say this my information came after the dome versus JC last december. So like you said Les may have changed the game up.

Again, 7 months ago means very little.

Again not disagreeing with you but I havent heard anything from him are people in his circle that say LSU is tied for his committment. No matter how long ago that was he said it (TEXAS LEADS). If you can show an article where he says LSU is tied for CO #1 then all props. But it is what it is. I am sure things have changed but just like Loston last year and Lache this year until they say something different then I can only go by the reliable sources I have stated. RELIABLE = HIM

Its hard to say who is better, Rasco or Johnson. Both play the DL but other than that they are completely different players. One leads to speed and technique and the other to power game.

I'm still a little surprised that Deon Simon wasn't able to earn an offer. He was one of the most impressive prospects at the camp last year.

I think we ended up just not having enough spots for him, but I expect him to do good things at UCF--great pickup for them.

Naw I read the article and it seems pretty legit.
You are trying to make it seem as if I disagreed with you and I never did.

pure adn simple I said show me the comments and he did. I also said That I havent heard him say anything different I dont even have an tigerbait account. i had to call a friend and use his. So please dont assume or misunderstand me. I was just stating what I had seen and heard. Plus UT hasnt offered which I hope they dont. I hate UT. I want him to be a Tiger.

TP, your "source" must be wishful thinking. Rasco is all LSU. Byron (his D.C.) will always bleed Purple and Gold, and he'll deliver. Texas recruited ECA pretty well years ago, but not anymore. Most of the guy's will always look at LSU first if given the chance. What's amazing is Rasco is only a soph.! If any of you get a chance to see him play live, go! It's worth the price of admission.

I sure hope your right. This kid looks to be something special.

I kind of wondered if some of the old anti LSU coaches were gone from ECA.

The coaches were never anti-LSU. You just may not understand the level of non-stop, big-time recruiting that goes on there, especially in the past. Nearly every game or practice, you'd look around, and do double takes; "oh, there's Butch Davis, or Mack Brown, or Spurrier, etc. Brown had some success there in years past, because some of the recruits really felt personally welcomed by him. Coach Brown is an extremely nice and personable human being, and has the god given ability to make you feel very special. Several ECA players were plucked out in years past simply because LSU coaches were just not making the same efforts. In other words, they were just getting out sold or out recruited. That has not been the case in the past few years. There is some deep running purple and gold support that is hard to break.

TBH I could see Rasco as the top player in the state next year.

Either him or Jarvis Landry..take your pick, really, because they're both special. Freak Johnson is right behind.

Don't be forgetting Collins, who may be the best of them all.

I actually did forget about him.

You're right, he looks like a legit left tackle. He's a hell of an athlete for 275 pounds or whatever they list him at.

I thought that maybe some of the bunch that left were kind of anti LSU but maybe not. Hester wasn't even that sold on LSU.

I'm glad to hear there is some LSU love going on though. Next year could be one of the best years we've ever had recruiting and I thought last year was outstanding.
