PT is there and Toviano could probably be a S prospect if they wanted him too so yeah, I'd say there's a high chance they get both.

Toviano is as close to a done deal as it gets. Should be a done deal next week.

Looks like we're closing nicely on Ricks. I like our chances.

Seems like Harris really wants to be here. We'll what BK decides. From the things BK has said, I wouldn't expect Harris to supersede either Toviano or Ricks.

So yeah, we could definitely get Toviano and Ricks. Seems like the odds are pretty good on that. I have a feeling that BK takes Harris too. That's a nasty set of CBs to drop out.

I don’t think we get Ricks. I don’t think LSU is willing to spend what it’ll take to get him here. Apparently Florida is throwing everything at him, because of them missing out on Cormani.

He’s the perfect guy to spend on then. Use him to not only bolster our class, but simultaneously kneecap theirs.

Agreed. And if we’re ever going to be consistent contenders, at some point, there’s no way around it.

He is a heavy LSU lean, not sure why you don’t think they’ll land him. LSU is apparently going all out and he actually wants to be at LSU. It’s not simply about the money for most, it’s also the fit, coaching, and what not. Perkins just took less to come to LSU.

Perkins is from Louisiana. That matters. We’re talking about a kid from Virginia with no ties to Louisiana whatsoever. I’m not saying we won’t get his commitment, but we’re going to have to at least come close to the offers he receives from bama and UF.

If we rebuild this year with Ricks, Toviano, Austin AND Harris at CB, I’m going to bust!

As an LSU fan that likes defense, I strongly approve this message.

I hear you brother, but we also have to consider, whom are the defensive coaches there? What were the results? Alabama had one of their more talented defenses and lackluster performances overall, especially in their secondary. Ricks, Arnold, etc are immense talents and looked lost. Florida? Don’t get me started. Some kids want to be both coached and receive money. LSU is going all out and giving Ricks an NIL haul and coaching. Kelly visiting and pictured, is a great sign. He is a heavy LSU lean for a reason and it’s not just the money friend. Last visit, Kelly’s visit, multiple CB that haven’t changed, LSU making Ricks their top NIL priority, etc.

Bust some more with Isaac smith. Only guy I wish we could have really pulled was DW. DBU would be disgusting with all those guys

Must be a sweet NIL deal Williams is getting at Texas as even the most optimistic longhorn fans know sarks days are numbered.

This. The smart play is to pay as well as possible for NIL, but to focus on the bigger money that comes after college in the NFL and how he will be better prepared for that by this staff. We have a season of defensive improvement beyond most people’s expectations to show there.

He has ties to Jordan Arcement who’s one of LSU’s recruiting specialist. They go all the way back to Ricks junior high school days in Virginia. He knows that he’s our biggest priority left on the recruiting board. Immediate playing is also a factor. On top of a very lucrative NIL deal that LSU has put in place. Tigers are sitting in a very good spot.
