No, he isn’t. He’s just a pessimist that would rather not get his hopes up. Do I think Bussey will be a tiger? No. But is it possible? Extremely! Which is why following recruiting is enjoyable, just not for dudes like Sam.

Maybe he just likes the gloves and thinks it's cool to wear LSU gloves. Maybe A&M sent him a sticker and he thought it would be cool to put it on his helmet. Maybe he wears gloves from a different school next week and has an LSU sticker on his helmet.
Who knows? He's a high school kid, so there doesn't have to be a rhyme or reason to everything he does. High school kids like to have fun.
