will this be a year where a lot of top players would like to come to LSU, but we just cant take them all?

If Saban can sign 33 last year, why cant we sign 25?

We lost:
Matt Allen, Max Holmes, Jordan Corbin, Jarvis Jones, Ryan Perriloux, Steven Korte, JD Lott, Jason Teague, Delvin Breaux, & loose 15 Seniors; everyone has a scholarships. I'm thinking about 24-26 scholarships that we can give out this yr. It also depends if Miles chooses to give up on D. Benton. I also Don't think that they gave out all the scholarships that they had available last yr. Leading up to signing day I don't think Miles got everyone on his list that he was thought he could he get.

I don't see how LSU signs more than 23 and I've never heard Henson or Miles say anything that indicates we could take 25, but I have read where Henson has said 22-23. I hope you are right.

I realize no one ever knows the answer to this question but I'll ask anyway.
If we go into the season under the 85 scholarship limit...and we have commits that come in January...wouldn't they be eligible to count towards last year’s class?

The "22" number came at the end of the recruiting season last year. Since then we've lost Mark Snyder, Max Holmes, Matt Allen, Jordon Corbin, Ryan Perrilloux, and Jarvis Jones to transfers, medical dismissal, and disciplinary dismissal. Also, Rockey Duplessis and DeAngelo Benton will not qualify. I would be shocked if we don't take a full 25 (or possibly a couple more if academic casualties become a near-certainty).

No, Sonny Shipp said it yesterday. Said they might take up to 24-25 considering redshirts & grade issues.

well I think we did, 26 - Benton & RD
So it sounds like we still have 1 scolly to give to the incoming class in JAN. (Benton)
