if all the kid cares about is dollars then he is probably not as good a recruit as we thought.
You have to WANT to play at the school. It has to MEAN something, not just a check.
I want the recruits to WANT to play for the purple and gold and be a TIGER.

Saban is on tDecline. This loss doesn’t really irk me as much as year’s past. It was predictable which makes it laughable but things are changing for the better. Still on our way to being elite again.

We beat that a$$ this year and won the West, Know who was second fiddle, that’s right Bama. If they would’ve beat us they would be in the playoff, Saban is pouring it all into Ricks cause he don’t want us to get him period. Don’t bend over for Bama Tool!

So it’s your belief that Alabama has nothing to offer a prospective football recruit but a bigger bag? Kids like to win. Kids like to have a chance to go to the NFL. Bama does a lot of those things. When Saban comes for the in home visit that carries weight.

Not my problem you can’t read. I didn’t say any of that. LSU is a good choice. Bama is a good choice . The vast majority of times when Bama offers significantly more money, the kid will choose that.
If Saban knew he could get the kid without offering a much bigger bag, then he wouldn’t make that late big offer.
That isn’t an opinion.

Exactly. I haven’t been keeping up with his recruitment in detail, but from what I’ve read so far it is clear he is wanting a bidding war.

I mean if you're a high school student and Nick Saban calls, much less comes in-home after averaging 3 natty per year for the last 2 decades ( 7/19) that's got to carry alot of leverage on a young man and family. It has kept growing exponentially with the $$ over the years in our same division and that's not easy to beat. Yet we have 2 of the last 4 years on the field.
So I agree 100%. Hopefully momentum will continue to build our way under CBK as his program matures

It’s not NIL…this shite has happened since the dawn of social media and the kids realizing they can scrape out all expense paid vacations from multiple schools…
Kids flip all the time. Hell even Fournette came out and said he *almost* fipped to Bama last minute. Can’t blame the kids. BK has the team in line and LSU is back to being LSU. Things will fall into place and one kid ain’t gunna change anything.
