Ensminger even commented on this type of stuff eariler I believe. Something to the affect " there is no secret to coaching qbs. This is where you want an out route...throw it" most Qb teaching comes between the ears. Just need better arm talent and let the best man win. These Jordan Jefferson, Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris projects should be evidence of why you don't recruit a strong arm that can't hit the broad side of a barn. Jefferson had a windup that I could set my sundial by, jennings never could hit someone coming out of a break, and poor Brandon Harris looked like he was trying to see how far he could overthrow his receivers everytime.

Perriloser, smh, kid definitely wasted that god given ability he had. He was really smooth with a football in his hands, whether running Miles' outdated option or running the spread and keeping or throwing the ball. When he threw the ball it was just nice, tight spirals with a perfect throwing motion of his arm and hand releasing right over his ear like they teach you. I think Narcisse is a lefthanded version of him, some people don't agree, but I see some of the same characteristics in his play. Just smooth throwing motion where he puts nice touch on his passes and they're thrown with the same kind of spirals. They both were of similar size, but Narcisse of course is a much better, much more physical runner that I pray doesn't get hurt again.

I don’t think Gunnel comes to LSU. Although I have a personal dog in the fight, and I believe LSU’s best scenario would be to bring Grant and Quad in this years class, I just don’t see Grant coming to LSU. I say this moreso due to the timing of his decision. From my understanding he is deciding before the Senior Season begins. He won’t see the hopefully improved offense if that’s the case.

Given that fact I don’t see how he picks LSU over some more established offenses that can offer him an opportunity to play quickly..

I think Arizona is a wildcard and it speaks volumes that he’s taking one of his Official visits there and he was already committed to Sumlin.

Throw in Arkansas, OK St, A&M (although they seem set on DT) and the seemingly strong interest in Oregon, I think LSU faces an improbable battle.

I repeat that I do believe the best thing LSU could do for the program is to sign GG and Quad.

I just don’t see it happening. I applaud Coach O for making the hard press though.

Yeah... perriloux was a talent. Found him passed out on the floor at the strip club in Lobdell his freshman year. Can't change a person's character. Next to fournette, Cecil Collins would have been the best RB to suit up at LSU in my opinion if it weren't for his troubles. He and Faulk were an old school Fournette and guice

You just made a good argument for why neither one of them should have been recruited to begin with.

Gunnell is also visiting UCLA, as well as OSU.

That is a tall order to get a QB that Chip Kelly and Urban Meyer want.

One would think he decides soon with QBs coming off the board but he’s visiting many places after the early commit and subsequent decommit. Some of the places he’s visiting seem strange but he’s looking for the right place I suppose.

Coach Morris and Craddock have made KJ Jefferson our priority since arriving here. Visited him three times in the contact period before NSD including one where the entire offensive staff went to Panola. He’s currently visiting Fayetteville for the second time and will be at our SG tomorrow. With State and OM taking other QBs this week Jefferson should pop soon.
