If Gibbs doesn't come, I think I'd just like to see O go get this guy...

Frank Brown (HUDL)
6-0, 180 from Sterling High in Houston.
Dixon included him in his list of potential guys at running back.
10.99 in the 100 meters, 21.86 in the 200.
Rushed for 848 yards and 15 TD's as a senior on only 62 carries (that's 13.7 yards a carry, which is insane), and caught 42 passes for 1,104 yards and 15 touchdowns (which is 26.3 yards a catch, which is even more insane).
He was more of a tailback as a sophomore and junior, and in those two yeards combined he carried 288 times for 2372 yards and 32 touchdowns (also caught a combined 31 passes for 671 yards and 11 TD's).
The kid has great highlights, you can't get any more productive than he's been, he's in a usual recruiting territory and he's got offers from Michigan State, Arizona, Houston, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas Tech and Utah, among others. It's not like he's some scrub you're pulling away from Grambling and Stephen F. Austin.
With speed like that he might be a wide receiver. I would think you could get him above 200 pounds and make him a legit tailback, if not a pretty good third-down back in this offense. Maybe even a defensive back; he's got some ball skills that might work.
Get Gibbs if he'll come, sure, but if he won't this is the safety-valve guy I want to look at.

If we don[t get Gibbs (or by some miracle Evans) then maybe just save the spot for next year

Don’t just fill a spot with a warm body. Especially,y with Johns recent tweets and Curry getting PT.
Just need to land a couple of beast next year.
Also replace a Robinson with Frank.

The replace Robinson with Frank is happening.

They’ve got to get another scholarship RB this class. Bottom line

Best scenario:
We keep all four current RB and keep some slots open.
and pay Uga back by getting Amaris mimms and sed van pran

Making that Grambling education work overtime! Still missed the point. LSU and Grambling aren’t in the same stratosphere and they don’t compete for talent.

More likely he takes one of the other us backs available like Bradford, Parrish etc. We will take a hs RB. 9nly way I see a transfer RB is if we have a spot and someone transfers after spring. It's been made known they want a RB in the recruiting class and Gibbs, while the best option, isn't the only option that can be a good player here. Hell Bradford was ranked higher than Gibbs before Sr film hit.

Dude we don't want CRAY CRAY EVANS!!

Solid running back that can catch. Damn staff needs to be on that guy

Grambling represents in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I think we are getting Gibbs, Always like him best anyway

If we go all in on Gibbs and push hard for him it will be very hard for him to say no. And tbh I think he fits our system as good as anyone

Jalen White from Alabama looks good. Wanted Ngata but he’s committed.
