If Coach Wade land this Hyatt kid ..Will the 2018 class ranking go up?

I think he is 2019 class

No offense but who cares at this point

If we do get him, we’ll remain the #3 class. He’ll only add .67 to our total since we already have so many guys even though he’s a 4 star. We’d be just above 69 total points and Duke and Kentucky are right above 70.

I thought with Taylor LSU was out of scholarships.

For those of us who don't know, who is this Hyatt kid?

6’7 215 lbs swing from NY. Right now his best attribute is catch and shoot 3’s but he’s athletic and has a really impressive build. He’s going to be able to develope into a complete wing imo. Huge get for the future

Yea. He has a great frame. Looks like he could really fill out and be a freak. Quick release for a big guy and compact looking shot that probably helps keep the stroke consistent. Looks like quite the wing guy that would fit really well with what we are trying to do.

His frame isn’t close to Sampson. You can see in the video he’s a big boy, and once he gets in a college S&T program he’s going to be more focused on being getting lean rather than building muscle like Sampson. Sampson was also a true SG where this guy is a wing/post guy. He’s not going to handle the ball nearly as much but that’s one area he will have to improve on a lot.
