Agreed, you don't let ANY player hold your program hostage over their commitment. At RB we especially need some depth. NO one RB is going to get us through a season. Splitting time is good for the team, and the player.

I wasn't too sure about this guy bc Eunice High had slowed this guy down but he still got around 100 yards and Eunice basically threw everything at him. He's the real deal and just doesn't go down, he's the type of back you want, hard running, fast, doesn't give up, and he can catch a ball also. I think he will play around 220 or so without losing any speed. He's a great back. LSU may know that if they miss he will commit on the spot so we'll see what happens. I know if I'm a recruit I wouldn't take it personal and if I was offered by the school I really wanted I would still commit. He may have even told them this who knows?

Not sure why we haven't offered. I saw him play a couple of times and he is a very good RB.

Well the good news is that Akers is an EE so we should know if Akers is coming here or not pretty soon. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't commit here but I can PROMISE you Travis Etienne is a BEAST. Getting CEH, Etienne, and Fabian Franklin next year would make us fine on rb depth over the next couple years.

What was that MS runner they had a while back Dixon or something? He was a decent back with power but wasn't over sized that is the type of back Etienne is but has the home run speed that Dixon didn't have. He has lots of upside also, using the stiff arm, spin move, and he can block already. He's a tough guy hardnosed FOOTBALL player. He's going to be a good one. We will be fine with him would still want Akers also but we would be fine without.

No reason to offer him yet. We are waiting on Akers and will offer TE (and he will likely commit) if Akers goes to FSU.
