Do you think we should pay him and wear him down so hes a bust in the NFL.
I thought you were talking about the gumps......my bad
Do you ever post on anything other than Bama or Saban? Every post of yours that I actually read always seem to involve Saban or Bama. The Bama obsession needs to end. I live in Alabama and I promise at least the guys I talk to don't talk about us half as much as you guys on here talk about them. Plus most of your so called facts are not facts at all but merely delusional lies such as Bama wearing down their rbs so that they are busts. They are no more busts than our guys are and they dont wear them down anymore or less than we do. I don't care who you are talking about just make sure there is some validity to your posts.Just a little constructive criticism for you.

Would be one of probably four safeties in this class.
Paris, Battle, Voohries...etc
I'm not shitting the bed over this guy .
This.
I would love to have Hootie as well, but he is no Landon Collins (and it took Landon years and an injury to get into the first team rotation).

He's as good or better than Collins.

While I hope LSU signs Hootie, like many others I believe those safeties already on board can get the job done at a high level. Paris, Battle and Voorheis have all been impressive as seniors and are players that many other schools would very much want to sign.

If I were you. I' wouldn't be worrying so much if Hootie signs with you all . I'd be worrying whether or not Saban is your coach next year, in which case none of those top recruits will be coming your way.

Why the frick is some noob gump troll on our board? I don't agree with the LSU guy, but frick off. Some of the established posters are adults and don't come here to troll, but if you come here to post emoticons you can gtfo and go to the bama board IMO.

Hootie is a MAJOR need and losing him would hurt badly. Paris has stated he wants to try cb first. Voorhies is an athlete, not true safety. Dont get that confused. Battle is good but needs to be developed. Hootie could start right now. He's that good

Look, Hyperbole on the recruiting board. I'm shocked.
Pardon my disagreement, but I get so freaking tired of you "Savior " guys who think some talented HS kid is better than the current LSU roster. If you look at empirical evidence over time, this just isn't the case. There is one Leonard Fournette, once-in-a-generation-type can't miss- in this class. Everybody else gets in line and competes for a spot. Dupre, Quinn, Robinson, Speedy-every single one of them.
Hootie can get in line at LSU (or Bama for that matter)with Paris, Voohries, Battle in position drills with the other five guys already on the roster, the majority of whom have two three years of learning the program under their belt. If he goes to EITHER school, he's just another talented kid with an opportunity.
And let's assume for the sake of argument, let's say he is a day one starter. The first time he makes a big mistake, the focus will change to the next guy in HS who "could start right now".

He's in the middle of his sophomore year and he's started like all but 2 games this season. But you're right, Thompson, Martin, Loston, and Eugene are holding down the safety spot just fine.

Every single LSU fn needs to read this. I'm so tired of seeing Bama in every single post from LSU fans. Whether it's they are cheating, handlers, scheduling or whatever, the penis envy needs to stop.

So much truth in this thread.

No, but he will be in Baton Rouge one night in November 2014 and again in November 2016 for about the same duration.
