8, some really big powerful offensive lineman and the coaches seemed to replenish some areas of need. I really was impressed with Deion Jones, he was so excited and proud to be a tiger in his interview.

frick off pussy.

I follow recruiting pretty closely and know when someone simbo shows up just to like on when he has no idea about recruiting. He is just parrotfish rantard talking points and bashing.

If flaming is supporting the coaching staff for a pretty solid class then yes that is flaming.

Apparently born and raised can't handle positivity about lsu so he calls it flaming. Some people are fricked up.

I personally think everything seems worse that it is because of how poorly we played in the MNC and losign to Alabama

Now we see Alabama enjoying another #1 class, and 3 other SEC teams ahead of us in the rankings.

The truth is, we as fans that following recruiting care about the rankings..We want LSU to finish in the top 5 or 6 every year.

This is class is probably under-rated and we really won't know until about 2-3 years.

I give the class about a 7... but that's based purely on emotion more than fact....losing Kiel, Davis, Miller and Collins (to bama) puts a bad taste in my mouth..

A good note, I'm really excited about Kwon signing today.. He is legit.

We just need spring ball to start soon! I think it will help the funk that is going around

LaBorn,
Do you REALLY believe the LSU staff was unable to "identify" Collins , Devall or even Kiel as desirable recruits?
One can reasonably question how well these guys were recruited, but to suggest the staff at ANY D-1 school didn't identify these three as desirable recruits is absurd
And you ask if I am mentally challenged?
Your post is aggressive ignorance par excellance.

Ima say 7.0/10.0

We have some great guys in this group, but we also missed out on a few. Honestly though, we're pretty stacked for the next few years so we can afford a less than stellar class this year. Hopefully next year we'll be atleast be top 5, preferably top 3.

LSU Guy makes a good point: We were never likely to get Devall, Collins or Kiel ( whose "commitment" was an aberration and was unlikely). Davis is a straight out loss. As I read his interview, I got the impression he was looking for guidance and felt he got it form the new Texas guy. Decarlos Holmes amy have alos been a negative factor. My immediate impression: LSU didn't keep up with this commitment and we lost him. That should never happen.

So, we did good!

Typical Rantard comeback. You have no argument so you resort to this. Have a nice day.

Who said they did not identify the kids as talent? Learn reading comprehension.

I said this
quote:

Our staff did not do a good enough job identifying with these guys
That is why we lost them. If the staff would have made more of an impression/been on the same wavelength with the recruits then they would probably be tigers today.

Also I responded to

which leads me to believe that

I follow recruiting pretty closely as well and if losing Davis was a good thing to you, then so be it.

Saying something is not good should be OK to say. But not for you LSU prick suckers.

You must be mentally challenged. We could have easily got any of the guys you mentioned. Our staff did not do a good enough job identifying with these guys and they went elsewhere. It's not like they came out the womb saying frick LSU. Its the way their recruitment went; plain and simple. No sugarcoating it. Again, I am not bashing anyone but I'll be damned if idiots like you think WE need to sunshine pump every post to make you feel better about our fandom. I am perfectly fine with my fandom, my school, and my coach; you seem to be over compensating for something.

First off: LINK

Second:
Kiel - if you even followed 1/10th of his recruitment you would know that the kid has been all over the place. He first lists OU/bama as his 1 and 2. He then commits to freaking Indiana. You're telling me that the #1 QB in all of HS football is going to go to Indiana? Give me a freaking break. So now, LSU is the clear #1, he wants to get back in the limelight, so he states he's coming here. Then pulls a complete 180 and chooses ND out of nowhere? He was NEVER coming here. And another thing, he did not want to compete for playing time.

Collins - He's stated he's been all bama for 2 years, not to mention he was following his high school trim there.

Devall - does not fit our defensive system. Nothing more, nothing less.

Davis - like it's been said over, and over. He was the only one that was a shock to lose.

Everyone else's recruitment played out exactly like it was going to from the beginning. How am I sunshine pumping again?

Miles alluded to it himself several times tonight. They took some La. guys for granted and Collins was one of them from last year on.

Filled the need for OL and LB. Finally we get legit LB's who can come off the blocks. Thompson very impressive in the secondary and I'm very high on Dural.
