No doubt, but take away Irv Smith, Buggs, and Moses off this team and how do they look?
Still like the #1 team. They don’t need Irv Smiths catches at all. They will plug and play another blocking TE and let the WR catch all the balls. They have another 5 star behind both buggs and Moses. Some people don’t understand how fricking deep they are

Who pays for those Hawaiian kids to live in Alabama is another story.
Based on median house prices, if said Hawaiian family was a homeowner. A family of 4 could sell their house in Hawaii and buy one house and dodge charger in Tuscaloosa per person and still have about $100k leftover.

Moses peaked in high school but he’s still a starting linebacker for them.
Moses peaked in shorts and tee shirts. Never was good on film.

yea, he's only 2nd on the the best defense in america in tackles.
He'd be 2nd at LSU in TFL and in Sacks too
never good tho lol. Clown

Alabama does not have the best defense in America. They might have the 5th or 6th best defense in the SEC this year.
1: MSU (that front seven is sick)
2: LSU (best secondary in football and it’s not even close)
3: Kentucky (good players running a good scheme)
4: Florida or Georgia (Florida has some DBs and their pass rushers are the best out there. Georgia is loaded with talent on the lines they just need experience)
I might would even put Auburn ahead of Bama but Auburn plays so damn inconsistently that it would be hard to justify it.

He BEATS EVERYBODY DUMBASS. One has nothing to do with the other
No, you are the “Dumb arse” here...OP was right...LSU starts beating Bama and winning National Championships and you will run Saban out of the state of LA!!!!
Why? How could that be? It all comes down to (#1) time management, (#2) productivity, and (#3) results vs. effort...
1. If Saban has to spend too much time on LA recruits vs. going elsewhere, he will give up on LA or reduce his time spent here.
2. If the well dries up, he will quit lowering the water bucket - the first LA kid that tells him LSU beat Bama’s arse last year and has a recent NC - Saban will realize it will be tough sledding with LA recruits until he can reestablish dominance over LSU with greater than 50% win ratio - if any LSU coach goes 50% against Bama as Miles did pre 2011 - Saban will be ineffective in LA - this is fact - look back at 2007-2011 recruiting classes - Saban was second fiddle to Miles with LA kids.
3. If LSU starts beating Bama - Saban’s results of landing LA kids will plummet and they won’t be worth the effort to recruit them...Saban is calculated, organized, scientific, and genius IQ or close to it. The process, rinse & repeat what works.
If O can beat Bama 1 of two, every other year, watch what happens...

Ok. You obviously don’t know shite about football.

Bama has 4 first round picks not even including Buggs. One of the best edge rushers in the league.
Dylan Moses would be a 1st rd pick if he were eligible too.
What Am I missing here? If you are thinking any of those teams are running out the top end talent on top of the depth they have, you’re crazy
They have TWO Jeffrey Simmons. They have TWO Montez sweats. They have savion Smith & surtain. They have Thompson who is the leagues best safety after Delpit. Cmon guy

It would certainly cast doubt that we are in decline and Bama is unstoppable. That can only help things. It won’t be the only factor ina decision obviously

That's a version of the story I hadn't heard yet.
Posted on 10/28/18 at 7:58 pm to Lester Earl
Bama is no doubt deeper than State, Auburn and Florida but I think Auburn and States front is just as good or better than Bama's. States LBers are really good as well. Bama has more depth but the starters for State are every bit as good or better than what Bama has. Now the secondary is a different story and when you put the two together I think Bama has a slight edge but they also haven't been tested yet.
That will play a factor in this game. Y'all watch and see. They know to take their game to a higher level but what they don't know is how to maintain it for 4 quarters. If LSU can do that I think we can beat this team. If we can get pressure and play great coverage, I think we can take Tua out the game. Saban might out his more veteran QB in there to run the ball straight at us if his passing game is being taken advantage of. We've seen teams with better WRs and just as good of a ground game but we haven't seen the balance they will bring. Georgia would be the closest thing we've seen so far.
Again though like the GA game they haven't been tested so how will they react to pressure from another great team who has the balance they do? That's still a question mark for them that no one is really bringing up because it's a Saban team and they never aren't prepared for intensity. I think this team doesn't have the leadership across the board like they're used to though.
This game will come down to mistakes, STs and who can execute their offense more consistently or at critical moments in the game. When we need that big stop, we need to get it, when we need that big first down to keep a drive alive they need to fight like hell to get it. Don't let bama push you around and not respond. We have to be willing to catch a ball with hands all over you in traffic. They have to get off blocks. Don't let Bama's OL get into your pads. They'll hold the frick out of you.
Slap those hands off immediately and have a spot to go as a defense. Set traps for Tua. Mix a lot of zone and man. Play half man half zone in the field. Zone with the safeties and LBers while the corners play man. Blitz but disguise it perfectly. Don't try to time it unless you see a clear gap being opened up. The delayed blitz works just as good. I'd mix it up so much that Tuas eyes would spin.
On offense we must have a sound RZ offense. I hope to god that they have their best plan of the year in the RZ for this game. We can score, they just have to want to score bad enough to do it. Have to be creative and the WRs should be working with Burrow this entire two weeks. If they aren't putting in extra time then they just don't want to win this game. They should all be putting in a little extra time but especially the WRs working with the QB on plays in the RZ.

Williams and Davis are 1st rounders. Buggs is not
Moses isn’t either and won’t be
Thompson will and Surtain will probably be
Sweat and Simmons are 1st rounders
Errol Thompson is a 2nd rounder
Lewis and Gay will be drafted in top 4 rounds
Adams is a 2nd rounder
Peters and Dantzler will be drafted in top 3
Bama has more talent and secondary but state has a lot of talent and experience
State has more depth this year on DL and LB
State has played better teams and put up better numbers

Mack Wilson is a 1st rd pick. Dylan will be. Thompson is a lock.
Their stats are misleading. They play 2.5 quarters every game. They are deeper & better than state

I’ll put money that Wilson and Moses aren’t 1st rounders
They only go 5 deep on the DL and Mathis and Ray don’t play that much until game is out of reach. State goes 7
They are also thin at LB. Moses was playing in the 4th against Tennessee

Probably the Corey Raymond interview and they made a lot of noise with how Orgeron would not last a year.. thanks to people on this board and the local sports media.
