He is 2 to play 2, not 3 to play 2.

His roster profile at NWCC says he was in high school prior to 2016. If that is correct, he would have 3 to play 2.

Don’t believe you have to sit out coming from juco. So whatever he has left, he will play.

The answer has nothing to do with whether he has to sit or not. What it does mean is if he has to redshirt for development purposes or injury, he can do so without losing a year of playing eligibility.
