Are there any obvious lock guys to pro early this year? Besides Watford?

We seem to be bringing a haul of players in next year in Thomas Wilkinson Cook Leblanc Ezewiro Anselem

Everyone declared last year so I’m just expecting everyone to leave

Outside of Watford, I don't think there's a legit NBA player on the roster.

Emmitt and Smart may leave early, but would be huge mistakes.

all the underclassmen could use another year, but I know that's wishful thinking. no sauces, but my guess is Williams goes. Smart probably goes, remember both guys tried out for scouts last year and then withdrew their names. I don't think Smart would even get drafted.

REALLY hope Watford stays one more year, he can develop into a lottery pick if he develops physically. He has tremendous upside.

Watford not very athletic. Won’t get a first round grade. Let’s see how he does tomorrow..

I wouldn't be surprised to see Williams, Watford, Days, and Smart all leave. I also would not be surprised if they all stay.

I agree with you Watford doesn’t look ready to move on to the NBA after this year. He really could up his game with another year.

I think any of leaving would be a mistake

I think Smart and Williams have already made up their minds they are leaving. Though neither are a lock to be drafted, at all. I though Williams may stay. But he just had a child. I suspect that pushes him out. I would LOVE to see Smart take another year to continue to develop as a true PG (what he will have to play at the next level). But I get the sense he, like many other big time recruits, is looking to leave college ASAP

I anticipate Days will stay and continue to get better. If I were Wade I would show him how Admiral Schofield developed at Tennessee. A guy who was a "tweener", but who worked himself into being a draft pick. Days has more natural ability than Schofield if he can develop it.

Watford is a one-and-done. Always was going to be one.

Right now there appears to be at least 5 open scholarships: Mays, Graves and Taylor are all Seniors. There was one open scholarship going into the season and Deshawn Thomas has entered the transfer portal without ever playing a game for LSU

4 of those 5 appear to be filled. Three freshman + Josh Leblanc as a transfer. Presumably LSU could sign the Wilkinson kid and keep all of the underclassmen...though that doesn't seem likely. If the underclassmen would stay this could be a legit national championship contender. Sadly, that's not how CBB works these days

I think people take watford's 5 star status and automatically qualify him as a one and done. but i really don't see it yet.

Honestly, at this point, everyone should come back. No one has impressed me enough to leave early.

There are lots of instances that upper-classman players who perform well on high profile teams who have good seasons do much better in the following draft rather than going early. The 2020-2021 team could make a final 4 run if they came back.

Javonte Smart
Cameron Thomas
Darius Days
Emmitt Williams
Trendon Watford
Charles Manning
James Bishop
Aundre Hyatt
Josh Leblanc
Frank Anselem
Jalen Cook
Mwani Wilkinson
Bradley Ezewiro

That would be a BEASTLY athletic team.

Is Anselem going to reclassify? Thought he was a 2021 recruit?

He did an interview a few days ago where he basically confirmed he was reclassifying.

Nice. Just stumbled across his Twitter while looking at his 247 profile. He retweeted a ton of LSU football stuff. Next year should be fun.

Days is not leaving that much I can guarantee. Smart will not get drafted if he bolts. But that won’t stop him from trying. Williams leaning toward leaving and he may not get drafted . Watford was as Naz was always leaving.
