How many think Verge may have a new job at Auburn?

He's getting $500k/year from LSU and his reputation is shite. He's not getting a better deal at Auburn.

0% chance. I think the kid probably wanted to see what life outside of Baton Rouge and his father's sphere of influence feels like. I also think that LSU is the only Athletic Department position available for Verge considering "the heat that Verge took at LSU."

He's close to retirement at LSU and he's not giving that up
Most people like Verge want the best for their kids and if Auburn is where he wants to go than I don't think anyone can question that
Maybe he sees earlier playing time at Auburn
The previous staff obviously did not put a priority on him or he would have committed awhile back

LSU offered and recruited him under the previous staff and again with the new staff as well

Instead of trying to form a negative narrative about Verge... maybe you should question what is Kelly doing right now.

Kelly has been on the job for a total of 3 weeks. Maybe we need to ask what Ed O didn't do.

Or maybe LSU is all they've known, and if they go to the NFL, this will be the only opportunity they have to actually decide on their own where they want to be. Verge let him make the decision on his own. Just like Miles' sons and many others, some don't want to go to school and see their dad every day.

Ausberry is not a make or break recruit. Regardless, kids need to make their own decisions with input from their parents. If AU is where the kid wants to go so be it.
