All I can say is after talking to Lache the other night I have to say "that scout writer" toned it down a lot. I don't blame him because there is still two years left and if LS changes his mind people will say that he wrote with purple & gold glasses. Lache's family and friends will always support him where ever he goes. As far all who wonder why LS keeps mentioning the fact that he has family in LA and also calls LA his home this could be to let the Texas fans understand he was never UTs to begin with. Let me tell you a true story about me when I first moved to Texas in September of 1991. One wise guy with Texas pride said to me that when I buy my first pair of cowboy boots that is the day I claim Texas as my home state. So when I got home I put the two pair of cowboy boots into the garbage even thought I owned them before I moved to Texas. My wife asked me why I was throwing away two good pair of cowboy boots and I told her it was because I did not ever want anyone to assume I was a Texan. By the way Lache does not own a pair of cowboy boots either. The best part is I can still wear my Matt Flinn jersey.

That's awesome to hear. He really tore it up at camp from all accounts. I hope he keeps his passion for LSU and the state of Louisiana!! Seems like a great kid and I hope to see him in purple and gold some day!!!

If he wants to go to LSU but his mother want budge on the Texas thing then he can delay his signing until he turns 18 yrs old. McFarland doesn't have to have his mother cosign the LOI if he is 18yrs old.

ahem back to the thread, i'd much rather have kevin brent than williams or michael. Brent is a headhunter with great speed, a great consolation prize if we lose out on loston. CM's not too hot on the grades, plus we have plenty of back prospects between this year and next. Williams is an outlier to me. how is a kid defensive player of the year but big schools wont touch him? he also seems to be one cocky sob judging from his highlight reel.

in comes Jon Bostic but I don't think we land him....
ETA: I know he's not from texas but I was speaking of other linebackers.

No, I'm not. It has nothing to do with someone committing or visiting.
It is however about a recruit...you will all find our for sure tomorrow.

I think it is more important that Williams go to TT and help their defense get better to beat aTm and UT. Which we will benefit from in the recruiting arena.

Here is what I will say....
Tomorrow I will post something and the participation of this board will help LSU's chances with a certain prospect.
Trust me, we can ALL make an impact on a certain recruit. I am not doubting this board or LSU fans one bit.

Sounds great I'll be participating but this sounds, well nvm I don't know how to put it into words.....

Yes you will definitely find out tomorrow.
I think it will be better if I don't mention the guys name until tomorrow.
Don't expect something 'mind blowing.' It is something that is fairly small, but can make a big impact if the participation is like I think it will be.
