How is Jhase Thomas so underrated as a recruit ?

I know he’s a consensus 4 star and the No.1 safety in Louisiana, but it seems he’s underrated nationally. He has NFL pedigree with his pops being a former nfl player, he has terrific speed as he runs a 4.4 40 time and overall strong coverage skills and is a strong tackler.

The same way Taron Francis is criminally underrated. I don't think people realize just how good that kid is about to be.
