He can't have Jr highlites he'l be a Jr this year!
Sadly enough he's probably going to Bamma
From what I've heard coaching staff at St aug are Bamma backers
Saban is just so thorough in recruiting. While LSU slept he got his coach placed at St. Aug. Short some miracle Bamma may get another Hiesman rb.
If they like Bamma so much why do they live here?
Why would you prefer Bamma over Louisiana anyway
For the life of me I can't understand Louisiana born citizens supporting Bamma !

Yes, I had the years mixed up. It was his soph highlights, not his junior. My bad.
Blows my mind that a fb coach in New zorleans would back Bama. I know there is history with saban pulling strings to get him(crutch field I believe) the job. He needs to remember what state he is in. Good luck to the LsU coaching staff in retaining this young man's talents.

Yeah cause Crutch doesn't have a recommendation from Frank Wilson or anything. He's totally just their to get one player to Bama.

I've never Had the opportunity to meet coach crtchfeild. I know he's a great coach. I hope all this stuff about him being a supporter of Bamma isn't true. If it isn't I apologize .

Hilliard and the kid from Redemptorist were both better than Lacy.

LD, thank you for starting a new thread. I didn't want to go through all the bs of all the other threads, so it is very cool to have a new one. If someone doesn't like this one, they simpply do not have to read it. Is easy. Jesus, there are some assholes here...

Get used to seeing LF threads, and if you don't like it stop reading the RB.
OP, to reiterate what fanva said, he is a big time prospect and both LSU and Bama have shown a lot of interest early.
To summarize the other threads, there's a lot of rumor and very little fact, aside from the few tidbits STAUG is able to gather from actually talking to LF. Bama is rumored to want him at linebacker, while LSU wants him at RB. Crutchfield, his head coach at St. Aug, is rumored to favor Bama. It is also rumored that LF wants to focus on offense. The only facts are that Bama is set to sign several RBs this year, and also that a talent on the level of LF, 14' RB - Bo Scarbrough is in the same class and plays in T-town. This doesn't matter if Bama convinces him to make the switch to defense, but it's certainly not bad news for LSU.
Like I said, lots of rumor and very little fact, but that's as good as anyone can tell it.

Thank you. I went to High School with, was friends with, and played with some serious athletes. College World Series ring owning players, Super Bowl ring owning players. A couple of these guys were 5 star recruits. You get the point.
I know that our coaches definitely played serious roles in the process for these players. Family, friends, girlfriends, and others play major roles as well, but the coaches are there as well. I can assure you that my HS coaches did not have loyalties to the colleges that were recruiting these players. I can also assure you that these coaches offered their opinion on which school would likely be the best fit. Coming from your Head Coach, that carries weight. I had a very good relationship with the same coach that coached and counselled those players. His opinion carried weight.
I understand that it is rumored that Crutch is a Bama pusher. Do we know that he favors Bama in general over LSU, or is it just in this case? I have a hard time believing that he doesn't have ties with the LSU staff. Has to. I admit that my feelings on what info I know do waver. What is the general consensus, if there is one?
With all this said, players are very capable of going against what their coaches suggest. I know one that did.
I stay optimistic on anything that warrants even a little optimism. Those players definitely get on these boards. Wouldn't you? I can't stand the defeatist attitudes some posters have regarding Bama. Get over it. We are LSU. Bama is, and should be, scared of what they see coming down OUR pipeline. So does everyone else. We overachieved last season. We are starting to peak now. Great things ahead.

Yeah, I'm sure Bama does want to move him to linebacker. Keeps him off their big rival's roster. He likely would be a good Lb, but his future at LB will be far less "draft stock earning" than at RB. Bama is trying to pull a sly one here. In that system he could easily end up never starting and fighting for playing time his senior year, which would kill the kids future, but Bama would be served well by him not being in our stable. Let's see ow smart this recruit us.

Lacy is the next coming of Trent Richardson, maybe even a little better IMO. We will see this season for sure...

For some reason, I dont know why, but I feel like Lacy will have durability issues. Maybe its cuz of the Turf toe thing last year. I dont see him being better than TR, Even if he stays healthy.

If you kick him the ball he will score a touchdown before he catches it.
