So much wrong here. The backciurt in Cook's freshman year was Javonte Smart and Cam Thomas. Aundrae Hyatt and Charles Manning were experienced backups. Manning left the team at mid season. Eric Gaines earned a spot place in the rotation with his defenseive play , kind of a male Fulwiley. Cook ran off to Tulane instead of competing for the starting spots the next season when Thomas and Smart were gone . Pinson was brought in as starting PG but Cook would have had a role at either guard spot.

When he returned to LSU Cook was ineligible until January. He played 13 games and averaged 27 minutes. He sustained an ankle injury and di dnot play the rest of the season. Recall the team played very well down the stretch without him. McMahon did not mistreat him, again he developed a sour attitude.

You are again so fricking wrong aabout Mwani Wilkinson. He was hampered by shoulder injuries which limited his development under both coaches. Why don't you get your facts straight before you let your fricking zeal to throw shite at McMahon overwelm the truth. You just have to have a fricking villain, don't you?

There were about six players with better three point percentages. Wilkinson was deadly from the corner. You only remember the shots he made. There were better players ahead of him and that team played well in the last month and finished in the top half of the SEC, but you ar e jus tlooking for reasons to be critical. Reed, Wright, Ward, Baker, Williams aand Hannibal had better three point percentage. He was a little better than Cook LOL.

Those are 2 of my favorite players at LSU especially Wilkinson and to watch him go from starter to non factor was quite sad for me

now for the love of God, answer my question about the instate recruit guys

I don't know much about those players but in general I wish LSU would sign more in state players. Other than Cenac there have been no top 25 in a few years, but some others have gone to A&M, Vandy ( he did come home), Kansas State ( so did he) and become good players.Wade was not big on Louisiana players except early in his first stint but can't really argue with the ones he signed from othe rplaces.
