I don’t see Lacy or Chambliss, or anyone from OM leaving after that.

I absolutely can see Lacy leaving for more money and to follow his coaches.

Is what it is guys. Regardless LSU will be fine and it’s damn impressive what Lane built up over there over the years. Loved watching that O vs that UGA D too. Feels good man :)

It doesn’t matter if you had an undefeated perfect season, in this era of college football, you’d still have transfers. Money means more to 18-22 year old kids than anything else.

And OM will be throwing it around to keep these guys from transferring…

OM will throw whatever he wants at him to stay

Maybe read the rest of the thread? Now LSU has to keep spots open for Ole Miss hopefulls vs filling out their roster from the beginning of the portal. It’s not good. So what don’t I understand?

It seems we were looking at other QB’s already. Chambliss may not be awarded another year anyway. Lacy is probably going to get a ludicrous sum from OM to stay so don’t think we get him anyway. We may end up with a receiver or some depth guys that are unhappy in Oxford.

There is no effect. LSU already knows who is coming from OM via agents.

Chambliss has to get a waver still. Lacy is good but you would have to pay him 2 million dollars for one year. I think LSU should pass. Outside of the red zone where his touchdowns were less than 10 yard runs he didn’t light it up

Chambliss is legit but it’s up in the air.

Go get the guys you can get now
