Camp camp camp.

You can pay to attend the LSU camp. It's a few hundred bucks. Call the AD.
this. LSU, like many schools, prefers to see kids in action, in person. And probably won't get an offer until the parents have had a chat too.

a backup, or possibly primary, contact especially for visits (probably not camps):

Have him twitter DM some game film to his position coach at LSU.

His position coach and he need to follow up.

Don't waste money on camp until you hear back from said position coach.

Notify Nola writers, Scott from dandy don and any news publication you can find. They'll get the info out. Calling coaches can be difficult. Also post his highlight tape here. The coaches read the board.

The camp may only be a few hundred bucks, but airfare from DC, room and board can run him over a thousand. His measurables look impressive. Would love to see him come to camp.

They housed us at camp... So you pay for the camp and the way there and that's about it. Food and housing included.

Friendship is a pretty big deal up there.

I'd say get some film together and put together a HUDL. Tweet the link to the LSU coaches, especially the position coaches. If their emails on are on the football office website, then you might want to send the link, too

Bama just hired the coach from friendship. I'm sure the hiring has nothing to do with the recruitable talent coming from the school.

In basketball you can't hire a coach to an off court position and still recruit the school he came from.

Why is it different in football?
