How blatant is the tampering?

Gonna be interesting to see how many guys declare for the portal then sign somewhere else the same/next day.

it's bad. I know locally people were quoting the mizzou coaches saying they know guys have have been contacted by every P5 school in the country.

Cristobal has been daring guys to leave in postgame after losses since they laid that egg against MTSU. Probably why this year's team so clearly quit on him.

Nope. The NFL has rules, regulations, and contracts longer than a few months.
This is a system with minimal regulations and no “contracts” longer than a few months (if the business entering the deal is smart). There is no “cap” on how much can be spent and the players have ALL the leverage (at least until they use their one free transfer). The players can be, and many are, “represented” by Uncle Ray Ray rather than NFLPA approved agents. That is who is dealing with the coaches on a daily basis. It makes “tampering” not an advantage, but a necessity.
