@lsu tool.. man do you get the feeling Sims was given the bama offer to reel in Crob? now CRob and Sims will try to reel in Hootie.. if it works you can't blame saban for given sims the offer.. i'm just saying man.. all is fair in recruiting..

The shifting of the "tide" over the next few years is going to be epic. The "ring" ship has sailed, and it will be fun to watch the loyal kids beat Bama over the next few years, while the ones that tried to jump on a bandwagon that reached its peak in 2012 fails.

it's hard to tell.
CRob was likely going to bama anyway. I think Sims was backburned but after they lost out on Ermon Lane and Saban's 1 hour and 20 minute pitch to Dupre fell a little short, he went back to Sims. It prolly helped, certainly didnt hurt Bama and it certainly didnt help us.
One thing I will say about Miles. He's stubborn as frick and some may not believe it, but he's as arrogant as Saban is but Miles hides it better.
There is no way he would give a kid power over him to dictate who he recruits and who he doesnt, no matter how good the prospect is.
It would not surprise one bit to know that Miles knew offering Sims would help LSU but still didnt do it, because for whatever reason he didnt want Sims and wouldn't give Crob or anyone that leverage over him.

Yeah. I didn't read most of the threads on the board yesterday. I RA'd a shite ton of them based on title alone though.

Well hunter panaigua just said on Hultbergs show that they're all hearing Hootie is leaning LSU and really wants Robinson to come to LSU but won't neccsirily follow him to Bama. This was in response to the 50/50 question.

We lost 2 players. Quill and Cam. 2 5 stars. You must be a real fan if this doesn't anger you and it makes you happy.

how can anyone complain about this? the kid doesn't need to be around BR.

yea it sucks, but bama has a 1st rd LT pretty much every year and we've gone toe to toe with them with our undrafted LTs and our 6th year medical redshirt guards playing LT.
We have talent and depth on the OL so get over it. It's time to get over it.

Tigah32 - you have a better chance of
All anyone has to do is look at the strides Bama has made in Louisiana in the past 5 years, I am talking one school not the other 12. People want to shrug it off like it is no big deal. But when you take the #1 and #2 in-state recruit 2 years ago, #4 last year and #1 this year not to mention the rest. That is not a good sign. There are reasons galore for why they went, but the bottom line is the did go and they went to one school. If it were different schools not as much to worry about, but to one school means they are starting to grow a big pipeline into our state and the school that it clearly will affect the most is LSU. Whether anyone wants to recognize it or not it is going to affect LSU.

Ok you are right we have gone toe-toe with them without it, imagine what we could do with the DJ Fluker's and the CRob's. That is the point here. It is not that we are not competing, it is just think how much better we could compete with the talent that left or is leaving.
