I want hootie like the rest of this board but major programs don't fall off because of a couple of guys. winston is balling out for fl. state and that hasn't destroyed bama. every state loses talented players. we want hootie but we will win a nc.

Not to many are arguing this. We just don't want 2 All American players going to our rivals and the team that won 3 out of the last 4 years.

Real life or otherwise, I've never seen any fan base with such a widespread & ingrained defeatist attitude.
I graduated from LSU in 2010 and I've never met fans like this, which is why I asked. This website is full of sidewalk fans who like to complain.

Perception actually does play a role in all of this. It's essentially why places like BOL would hang their recruiting national champions on the top of their site. When people check out this board and see chicken little LSU fans acting like Bama is "the place to be" then they actually want to believe it a little more no matter how untrue it might be.

IMO, Bama is definitely not the place to be anyway. Tuscalooser isn't exactly a groovy town to start off with.

Go ahead and keep on repeating all of the negative crap that you can muster though.

JJ, Hootie basically said lsu isn't coached as good by the db coaches?
This IS the truth, now that Coach Cooper is gone.
