We get Jones great/fantastic
We miss Jones, we go get Ramirez or Gage, two under the radar recruits that will turn into fine players somewhere else
It's a win/win

LSU offers at least everything and probably more than Bama plus immediate playing time, chance to play for his state school and playing closer to home. Looking at the current depth chart, he will at least be a starter as a true sophomore. LSU has a phenomenal record at putting defensive backs in the NFL. All things being equal, he would choose LSU. He has been to LSU and met the coaches several times. Hootie can be the anchor in LSU's backfield for a few years. The fact that Bama is still in the running has me worried. IMO, he is not torn between the two schools and there is a leader in his mind. It is not reassuring that he will be visiting Bama twice before his announcement and once right before he announces his decision because Bama is going to pull out all of the stops for him.
Edited to correct damn auto correct.

Hottie is on another level then those guys. Not to take away anything from the other 2.

Not that it matters but bama is in a bind at safety also and could get immediate playing time

This thinking right here will get you consistent 3 and 4th place finishes in the SEC.

I don't think so. He was just one of the true tigers who decided he wasn't gonna be a drama queen and wait. Paris will be stud but I will furious is Hootie jumps ship.

How can you say that when you just did? That was the point of your post (i.e. Not to take anything from the other 2).
