because he can and he wants to have fun...despite what we think, these kids have a good time on these visits whether they are going there or not

He's also getting a chance to watch LSU again against Bama. See how I can spin things our way too? Bottom line is he could be leaning either way but for anybody to say he's for sure Bama or LSU bound is ignorant at this point.

I'm nobody but I honestly think its LSU and has been for awhile. I never understood why everyone began flipping out and saying he was gone, but they seem to have convinced a majority of people of it even though there is absolutely nothing in his actions that support it.

I think Hootie is probably one of the more important recruits in this class with Garrett and Fournette. He fills a direct need in a position that doesn't have a lot of depth and is questionable in talent currently at LSU, IMO. I do think if he came here he would be getting immediate PT at minimum and possibly a starting job later his freshman year. I'm not a fan of our S this season personally. Hopefully they improve.

In my mind, this is often an extrapolation of the quotes from CRob and Sims. And probably alot of assumptions based on their relationship(s).

I don't think Hootie has given any real good hints or leanings away. But, the few interviews I've watched he does light up when you mention LSU, so that's good. And there's always Diarse.

So 50/50 LSU/Bama based or verbage.
50 +10 (for Mom) + 5 (for Diarse)
- 5 for CRob and Sims

barring any insider info, I think 60/40 LSU lean.

in all actuality, I feel it will come down to position coach and head coach. No clue where he's at on that, won't even venture a guess.

we actually offered cj hampton (ole miss commit) a scholly about a month ago.

They follow each other on twitter. So Hootie and Hampton probably know each other

bama is selling them both on going there to play together and they have been paired up during bama visits.

Read an article recently on Hampton's top 5 and we werent in it. Also says him and hootie talk about playing defense together.. but i'm sure that means nothing either.

here is a quote from hampton. this was 2 weeks ago
Hampton visited Alabama with Laurence Jones over the summer. The two Top247 safeties often discuss their recruitment together, including the possibility of playing in the same secondary in college.

“We always talk about the programs we are considering,” Hampton said. “Hootie with Alabama and LSU, and me being an Ole Miss commit but still checking out my options. I feel what he is going through because although I am committed to one place at the same time I am trying to make sure that place is 100 percent right for me. We talk about it a lot and we would love to play together, with him at strong safety and me at free safety. That would look very nice. We will see how it goes.”
