#13 QB in the country? Way too high.

Regardless, I hope he’s the starting QB for Alabama one day.

OVERALL

One of the biggest movers in the ESPN rankings is Zachary QB Eli Holstein, who has committed to Alabama. He jumped from No. 59 overall to No. 13.

Arch drops to #2

Doesn’t matter, he still has to perform.

#4QB in the country. ESPN rankings. Still about #10 QB in 247. #7 in ON3.

I have a bigger issue with Arch being this high than Holstein. Holstein has all the same attributes or better and has been a lot more productive in a much higher class of LA.

there are a number of QBs that should be higher than Manning

Nelson
Nico
Moore
Holstein

to name a few

Has Manning gone to any of the Elite 11 camps and competed against any of those guys?

none

and it would be nice to see him stacked up against those guys, but i think it showing him side by side against the likes of nelson, nico and moore would clearly demonstrate that he isn't in the same realm as far as movement and arm strength go.

and that's not to say that arch is overrated...actually arch's rating makes these other guys underrated in my book.

Bama is their cash cow. Have to boost those rankings somehow.

At the very LEAST he should be outside the top 10. Kid isn't close to a 5 star QB, but I'd let it slide if they would just put the better QBs ahead of him. That kid has proven absolutely nothing to say he is better than Moore, Nico, Nelson, or Arnold.

Walker Howard at one time was the #2 QB in the country and then they pushed him back 20 spots after he got hurt. There is no way any sane person could watch Walker Howard and Arch Manning and actually place Manning above him.

Yeah, if I'm him, I don't go to those camps because there is nothing for him to gain from going.

ETA: It's just strange that all of the evaluators haven't penalized his lofty ranking for lack of camp experience.

He's the best QB in the state of Louisiana this year I know that. He will be Bama's starter one day.

it's the ironic part of this whole deal bc a big percentage of these prospect rankings are based on how they look in camp settings.

A prospect has a bad day in 7v7 or on air during drills? oh yeah, dump em down no matter how they looked on actual game film.

You're exactly right. In any other case, a recruit's rating is driven by his performance on the camp circuit.

It doesn't matter. That idiot won't see the field at the earliest until 2027. Hence, if he has more than a half a brain, he'll de-commit and then commit to some place where he can see the field far sooner

Of course, he could have committed for the NIL deal they promised him and in which case, he'll probably pull a Quinn Ewers and transfer next season.

Yea every time an LA player commits to Bama he’ll be a sure fired All-American according to some on the Rant.

I told you guys, most of us know it some of us deny it. If a recruit commits to Bama, over night he magically gets better. It's very rare for someone to commit to the good guys and get a bump in a positive direction. Bama bias, Satan Love
