Like it alot! Don't see why people think Harbaugh is a force to be reckoned with (Urban on the other hand...). Thank you for pointing that out LSUPatrick.
Gut feeling (a.k.a. guess), if we stay on him and not assume too much, we have as much a chance to sign him as anyone. Get some visits to hold off the Vols mainly.
Forget about the 40yd pass... the double-pancake-block by shoving one kid into another was awesome.
Negatives first...
1. First glance, he's not going against equitable competition.
2. Not much burst off the line / out of stance (easily fixed)
3. Footwork isn't the greatest
Strengths...
1. Looks strong as an ox
2. Great frame, I mean great... not just good
3. While footwork isn't great, his balance and positioning is (he's the opposite of Traore).
4. A "heady" OL. He knows how to play the angles, instead of going to a body, he knows how to set himself up to block for the play, not just block a player. Adjusting to a higher speed game might pose a problem, but most of that is mental once they fix the footwork.
Overall, if he had quicker feet he'd be a higher 4*. This is a very good commit, not a project, not a head scratcher. Lots of built-in/realized qualities with some more upside to go.

Does this commitment signal anything with Kenyan Green?

Why should it? LSU should be signing 4-5 OL every year.

Yeah. The OL group he’d be joining at LSU is that much better.

Nice pick up. The state of Michigan has been good to LSU. That’s a big man.

He appears to be a naturally dominant run blocker. Gets really good leverage to get under guys shorter than him and completely flatten them. Good lean. Aggressive.
