You guys have lost your minds. They broke laws and will be punished when you have a daughter maybe you will understand. The it's okay part of this is ruining our society, He is 18 and she is 14 and they were at school.

Anyone who thinks it isn't a big deal is a POS. Imagine if that was your daughter, sister, cousin, etc. The peer pressure at that age is enormous. Just because the media and commercials show young girls more sexually is no defense. Where does it end?

Allegedly.

Maybe when you have a son, you might choose to not rush to judgment.

I didn't mean its the same thing as in a 17 year old is the same as a 14 year old but age difference is the same. He should be punished but not sent to jail for a long arse time like many are suggesting.

And its pretty normal at most h.s. for this kinda stuff to happen just not on school grounds. Not just where I grew up but most of la.

Now if he pressured her or forced her, frick him put him in jail. Jmo though.

If so....stupid.

They say videotaped, but nobody realy uses videotape anymore. I'm sure they are probably referring to iPhone video or something like that.

hill should not be allowed on the LSU team.

But, it wasn't all that uncommon when I was i High school for senior guys to boink freshmen girls (and sometimes it was the girl doing the pursuing).

Any news on if the kid was white or black? Although it shouldn't, it will make a difference.

I was thinking CCTV camera. I've seen many a school put a CCTV in the locker room - probably for this very thing. It records to a DVR.

If this is the case and they have video evidence, both Hill and his buddy are frickED (no pun intended).

I understand you.

If it wasn't forceful, then I see no reason to ruin these two kid's lives over this. There has to be a more suitable punishment than charging them like your run-of-the-mill pedophile.

I don't think a whole lot of thinking was going on by anyone involved in this.

Understatement. Dude is looking at jail time of 10-20 years over this.

Before we rush to judgement, let's wait to see what the hall pass said.

First of all, none of you really know what happened. So I would implore you to not rush to judgment. There is a big difference between saying, "he's a POS" and "IF this did occur he is a POS."

Second, I remember being a senior and dating sophomore girls. I also dated senior girls when I was a sophomore. I think it is a customary 2 year delta. But I don't remember any seniors chasing freshmen.

There is a reason why there's nothing wrong with a 35 year-old dating a 30 year-old, but everything wrong with an 18 year-old dating a 13 year-old. Through time, the younger person gains maturity and an ability to better understand the consequences of their actions.

Yes, 14 year-olds are less innocent today then they were 10, 20 or 30 years ago. But that's an indictment on our society, not an excuse. IF what is alleged to have happened did occur, do you really think the 14 year-old in question is mature enough to engage in this type of behavior? No. And IF it happened, she is going to regret this for the rest of her life.

IF it happened, a law was broken and the boys will be punished. And they will have that on their record. I do hope that IF they are convicted, the sentencing judge does take into account their age and own lack of maturity. The punishment should fit the crime, but it shouldn't ruin their lives.

I know this happened at my high school. I didn't do it, but I didn't think it was nuts or criminal.

And if everyone is so disgusted, the high school system needs to be changed to keep 14 year olds away from them.
