neither you nor I know what the video showed. He would have been an observer, keeping watch while the other guy did what he did.
The law is REALLY clear in this case and has been since long before you or I. You f around with a minor, you get in trouble - regardless if it was forced or not.
If there is video and the police have that video, the DA charges according to what they think will stick.
In Baton Rouge, everyone knows it is LSU Football first, so it is VERY likely this wasn't a voluntary activity on her part since they charged what they charged.
It is real clear REGARDLESS of what you or I might think. AND the parents of the girl have nothing wo do with this. it is the DA's office that filed the charges based on evidence from the school. Once the evidence was presented to the DA, they had to file the charges.
There is 2 relevant laws:
1. Oral Sexual Battery or Statutory Rape.
Since there was no "sexual intercourse" involved - thanks Bill Clinton - then it is Oral Sexual Battery.
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C.(1) Whoever commits the crime of oral sexual battery shall be punished by imprisonment, with or without hard labor, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence, for not more than ten years.
(2) Whoever commits the crime of oral sexual battery on a victim under the age of thirteen years when the offender is seventeen years of age or older shall be punished by imprisonment at hard labor for not less than twenty-five years nor more than ninety-nine years. At least twenty-five years of the sentence imposed shall be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
(3) Upon completion of the term of imprisonment imposed in accordance with Paragraph (2) of this Subsection, the offender shall be monitored by the Department of Public Safety and Corrections through the use of electronic monitoring equipment for the remainder of his natural life.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Statutory Rape
Louisiana
§ 14-80
§ 14. 80. 1
Felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile is sexual intercourse with consent between (1) someone age 19 or older and someone between age 12 and 17 or (2) someone age 17 or older and someone between age 12 and 15.
Up to 10 years in prison (with or without hard labor)
Misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile is sexual intercourse with consent between someone age 17 to 19 and someone age 15 to 17 when the difference in their ages is greater than two years.
Up to six months in prison

i'd feel horrible for raising a whore of a daughter who got caught not only blowing 2 guys at once in a locker room, but bragging about it later
Yeah, well why you should consider not being a parent because that is just one of only a few things your kids will disappoint you with in your life.
I have 4 daughters and I am very clear to raise them to be independent individuals and teach them right from wrong.
However, they still make mistakes.
As a grerat preacher once said, "It is not your responsibility to raise Godly children. It is your responsibility to be a Godly parent."
Hang that on your clothesline of life and let the Holy Ghost blow through it.

it's like chris rock says. if your daughter ends up on a pole, you fricked up
blowing 2 guys at 14 and then bragging about it is a failure of parenting
i'm not excusing the behavior of the 2 18 year olds, but the 14 year old fricked up as well

blowing 2 guys back to back CAN be a mistake
BRAGGING about it shows a complete lack of proper values system and is not a mistake

it has been posted many times by people that she was bragging about this on facebook after it happened
if that didn't occur it lessons her moral culpability

some people said she posted it on Facebook.
A MANY of CHEATERS have been busted through that website.
Don't know if that is true, but it sounds reasonable to me IF it wasn't forced like he is claiming.
However ONE MORE TIME. IT IS NOT about whether or not she did it VOLUNTARILY or not. THE DA HAS a responsibility to file those charges. It is very simple. IF it was on video, like being reported, the SCHOOL has to turn over the tape to the DA. The DA has to follow the law in prosecuting this case. The LAW doesn't allow for exceptions.
Yeah, they can ask for a lesser sentence, but I bet he gets some time - 3 months, then probation of 5 years.
He could still play football in-state I think. Out of state, I don't know because of how the probation system works.

THAT IS IRRELEVANT! THERE IS NOTHING MORAL ABOUT THIS CASE! IT IS A BROKEN LAW LIKE SHOOTING SOMEONE.
The DA's hands are tied. They have to charge him no matter what you or I believe to be right.
Morally you can tear her down all you want. He fricked up! He has to pay for it.
YOU AND I BOTH knew that fricking with a 14 y/o NO MATTER what is wrong when we were his age. She can tempt you all she wants. She can even show you a fake ID, and YOU ARE STILL IN THE WRONG. Ask Lawrence Taylor.
THIS IS ABOUT LIFE - NOT FOOTBALL! Take Football out of the equation and who he is for 1 minute and think about it. I will bet you any amount of money he isn;t the first man to be charged with this crime. In fact why do you think it was written in the first place.
He may be 18, What if he was 25 and she was still 14? would that make it inappropriate? What if he was not a football player. but a teacher - who she didn't have ANY classes with? What if it was a friends dad?
Stop for one minute and don't think about this being a school situation. It justhappen to take place at school, but it could have easily happened in the restroom of McDonalds.
It doesn't make it any less of a crime.

Nothing moral?
Really,
YOU REALLY DO NOT NEED TO HAVE KIDS!
You post this shite about tv and sex in the media and act like it was not that way in the 60's, 70's or 80's> Let me help you with someone who is 45. It was like that when i was in school.
I KNEW IT WAS WRONG. I WAS RAISED THAT WAY. BLAME HIS PARENTS THEN!
I CONTROL ME. NOT NO FREAKIN LITTLE GIRL.
If I was approached by a 14 y/o today, do you think I wound let her do that to me? What about you? Would you compromise your well being?
HELL NO!

He was a year behind in school and close to 19 from what i understand. It doesn't matter. What if he graduated and was just visiting the school like some people do? Does that matter?
YOU guys that are defending this are all less than 30 from what I can tell. Your perspective on life changes once you grow up.

Do you really don't want to get into a stats debate with me. Just presented a class on "Are we scaring ourselves to death?".
So is violent crime, fatality rates from auto accidents, Cancer death rates, etc. so are ALL STATS?
Why?
Go do your homework....
Posted on 1/16/11 at 12:02 pm to Jaketigger
no, I know that 2 kids in high school are generally in the same social circles and shite happens. She fricked up just as bad as he did (assuming the part about being forced is bullshite)

do you not like stats or something?
as a person of the black community who obviously desires a pious America, you should be happy that your demographics are bettering themselves through stats and/or that "the man" isn't unfairly being racis

HER FRICK-UP ISN'T A CRIME!
Social circles apart!
My Parents taught me that Statuatory rape was a cime. Didn't yours? They said, if she was <17, I could go to jail. How much clearer could they have been?
As much as it killed me, I didn't do it with my GF - who became my wife - until we were of age.
My friends did though. They played "with fire" as my mama would put it.
