Do you take 3 this year or three next year when you could get Brossette, Guice and maybe Ducre?

Question is, is Williams>Ducre or is Ducre>Williams?

I kind of like Ducre there, although I suspect he'll end up somewhere else in the SEC without an LSU offer at this point.

That was a very complementary article on boo. Look forward to see him score for LSU.

Amazing how once they commit, their talent gets drastically better.

From Arkansas, ole miss talent, to electric playmaker with volumes of talent and too good for LSU to pass up. Well done jimmy.

Did better than some of the pay site guys..

Still waiting on Williams to get that offer, since he's the closest instate RB to an offer...

if you run a 4.7 then you gots to go...plain and simple. not trying to knock the kid but sione is just better in all aspects of the game really. I dont really see how you can compare them side by side and pick williams as the better back

Not to be a Jimmy apologist, but wouldn't it be more about scheme fit?

In February, he was working under the assumption that LSU would recruit players based on the premise that they have been recruiting them under in recent years, namely, big, physical downhill guys.

Now that it's clear that the philosophy has shifted, you look at Palelei in the context of what LSU is now looking for. We all know if it's not LSU, it's Arkansas, Utah, Minnesota, teams like that. That hasn't changed.

But for what LSU is now looking for, he's a good fit and will be reviewed that way.

Nobody's talking about the added benefit of getting Boo: Poly pipeline of sorts. Having a local poly family is big for these guys from California and Utah... Ask Fanaika.

and mine was towards the ridiculous bias the 247 guys showed towards williams...want to know why nobody gave sione a chance? Because of our recruiting reporters...

It's amazing the surprise people had when they found out Sione was offered and committed, it's like people thought it went
LF

Williams

Palelei

He didnt get the proper coverage, Cincy's thread had more information on Sione than any of the paysite guys wrote on Sione.
