Not useless. I’m not an insider. Honest info conveyed in an honest conversation.

I said this in another thread a few weeks ago, LSU is making a very strong push and are not a long shot in the least.

“LSU needs some better contacts and influence in Amite to compete with the barber.”
“How about the governor and sheriff?”
If that downsy bastard of a governor pulls this off, I’ll consider voting for him. I won’t, but I’ll consider it.

The Edwards family runs deep in tangi parish and originates from Amite
Sports Illustrated did an article about the play that clinched the championship for Bama last year and Governor Edwards said he was happy for Devonta Smith but he wished he was playing for LSU. Would be nice if he had some pull in this area this year!

Thanks for the info! Some of the best news come from the home folks, not the recruiting experts a million miles away with some who-knows what kind of connection. Would love to have him, even though I think he's a little overrated. Keep feeding momma well, so we can finish the deal!

I don't know if she was scheming or not. I also don't know if Sophser'd mom is scheming or not.

I still say if you take one 5 star and one 1 star, that adds up to a 3 star average. Not worth it!

I remember when Moses, Hootie, Tony Brown and Surtain were coming to LSU.

If he doesn't go to LSU, Bama would have rope a doped the Tigers for 2 recruiting spots instead of 1.

Hopefully the Sopshers are a closer knit family than Landon and his mom. I've seen a lot of kids get tied up in this type situation and most of the time family desires come first. There are the exceptions. Maybe Sopsher won't be one of them.

I would love to hear you explain the math on this.
