I dont think anyone here has a problem offering Rodney a scholly to get Ish, if Ish lives up to his ranking. The waste of a scholarships is easy over looked if Ish is a stud.
The problem alot of people here have is what if Ish is a bust? Then you wasted 2 schollys for nothing. Those 2 scholarships would have better served going to others even if it was just quality depth.

It’s absolutely the thing to do. You can’t keep losing big fish to bama, especially in that part of the state. If Ish comes here and dominates, it’s totally worth it. Plus, we don’t have other DT’s in our grasp as of now to be able to confidently pass on the sopshers.

IMO getting the Sophsher package is acceptable. Locking down the top 10 LA recruits for this cycle (with Lee) is paramount to setting a standard. Anybody thing we sign Lanard Fournette without Leonard, an all time great RB. Albeit Lanard was a decent 3 star, we would have never pursued him with guice, williams, and brossette on board. Ish's upside is worth the two schollies, whether as an immediate impact player, or a 2020/21 stud. Lock LA down

I laugh everytime someone posts that we should pass on the two for one and just get two "highly touted" guys instead. Have they been following LSU recruiting? When was the last time we filled our last four or five spots with "highly touted" guys? Much less in our positions of biggest need?
