If you are being honest none of LSU’s portal or NIl guys have lived up to billing as they haven’t made the playoffs or sniffed a real bowl game…so if looking at strict ROI/worth…NONE
But its the old catch 22 if you don’t get good players which now a Days is bidding war, it’s hard to win as we know our coaches(OL, ST, Secondary etc) haven’t even coached up the players they have to outperform their recruiting rankings on average.
Let’s hope this year they break through and make a deep playoff run.

Is your goal is to win a Natty or individual awards? If a Natty none have done it since Burrow and he wasn’t NIL…agree LSU has gotten good players(JD5 etc) but none of them got the Ring.

Jayden is one of the greatest LSU tigers of all time. Not just LSU, but college football in general. Hence the heisman. He led a historically good offense. If he even had an average defense that year, we win the natty. Gtfoh.

shite if LsU would have had a pulse on Defense, coaches who could make just 1 or 2 adjustments in game would have been a totally different year but it wasn’t. Same way in 2011 if LSU Beats Bama in the Natty it could have been a totally different outlook for LsU but they didn’t.
So back to you NIL hasn’t won them a Natty so the ROI for that question is a big fat NO!
