Take this for what it is worth:

quote:

Jeff Ermann on maryland247 posted this:
We're hearing Dwayne Haskins and Keandre Jones, Maryland's top two commitments on offense and defense respectively, could announce their commitments to Ohio State at 4 p.m. today.

It appears a mere formality for Haskins, Maryland's prized quarterback commit, who's seemingly been a silent Buckeyes commitment for weeks if not longer. Jones, though, comes as a bigger surprise; he told IMS in late December he was "90 percent committed" to Maryland after getting to know new coach D.J. Durkin and his staff during his unofficial.

Maryland's staff went in-home with Jones today, and a source said that meeting might have been Jones' chance to tell the staff of his decision in person. Either way, Maryland will likely continue to recruit the four-star linebacker until National Signing Day, but it appears likely both of the heralded locals will be making their way to Columbus. Stay tuned ...

I hear you on Franks, and if the Franks thing was the only mark against him I'd agree but the Franks thing is magnified now because no big time QB last year, and more importantly, how CCC wasted very valuable time continuing to try with Franks once it was over instead of moving on, we fell further behind on other guys, then we go visit Russo, don't offer (I presume not to offend Haskins) so he commits to Temple, The Haskins deal seems dead too, it doesn't seem to me that CCC is very self aware as to his standing with other people...word is that applies also to other offensive coaches on staff, rumblings out of Baltimore were similar. That, to me, is most disturbing and maybe the root of these problems

Unless there's some super secret conspiracy all fingers are pointing at OSU.

Either Easternrio will be a hero or Dal part 2.

If we scratch there's no reason to panic and waste a spot on a sub par QB.
Just have to go all in on Narcisse next year plus a second QB

First off your saying he is NOT making announcement....if he was it would be to OSU due to the fact he hasn't been on OV to LSU. The bad news would be if he had the announcement. This is good news for LSU, as long as the OV happens this weekend then we can still sway him to Baton Rouge. Right now no news is good news until he steps foot on LSU campus.
