So let me get this straight. You believe it’s more likely that A&M has signed Harold Perkins, they told him to tell reporters that LSU hasn’t contacted him much and LSU knows this but Alabama, Texas and USC don’t and are still recruiting him. Which is a mistake because he’s alresdy signed snd is now acting as an operative to negatively effect LSU’s recruiting momentum?

That is more likely than BK hasn’t reached out to the kid and we don’t have coaches doing it either and he’s actually telling the truth and he’s gonna sign on the old signing day.

20 years of this same narrative might be a good indication of how the negative recruiting game is played.

Yes that’s what I’m telling you. It’s how the game is played and has always been played . We hear this same story every year from multiple Alabama and Aggie recruits. It gets guys like you running with the catastrophe syndrome and spreading dissent with minimal factual evidence other than the word of a kid who has already made a decision and has been coached on what to say. They do it because it works. We had this discussion here every year since I can remember.

Conversely, if a kid has not been contacted there IS a SPECIFIC reason . That’s why we have a coaching staff that recruits and not random bros on message boards. In my time here we have passed on multiple “ can’t- miss “ guys for various reasons. Many flame out spectacularly. And still we line up and play the games every fall . Relax. We finally have adults in the room.
