I think Simon is better than Lindsey. I really wanted the Berry/Simon combo, but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

I agree. LSU has been burned many times in past waiting and waiting only for that player to commit somewhere else. Now you end up with neither player at end of the day.
I wanted Simon part of the class also and still hope LSU lands him. I am not mad at LSU taking Lindsey commit at all.

Simon is indeed better now as was Clyde better than Etienne, Hilliard better than Jeremy Hill, in high school. Ettienne was better in college and the pros. Same goes for Hill. It's subjective based on preference in the end. I too prefer Simon but Lindsay is more talented. Don't think either are worth fretting over if Jackson and Berry are developed.

I’m not arguing who’s better, but Simon could have committed for a long time and didn’t do it. Lindsey is highly thought of and was ready to commit. If reports are true of Simon getting pissed we took Lindsey’s commitment, he needs to get over that shite. We need multiple backs in this class and likely a portal guy next offseason. No time for people to be in their feels.

I think Lindsey is getting some bad comparisons because everyone is focusing on recruiting site evaluations. He’s around 200 lbs but plays way bigger, kid loves the contact and actually reminds me of Patrick Queen.
