If you base it on "watch what they do and not what they say" then you don't expect him in this class. However LSU is going to use some NIL to try to go out with a bang...

I've always said i thought he would go to michigan.

Michigan is at 35% and lsu is at 30% odds to land his services according to on3...me myself I am not inspecting harbor to end up in lsu 23' class...the last 2 yrs lsu went for the #1 overall player and didn't get them so I have 0 confidence

I’m surprised that the sentiment regarding harbor is so overwhelmingly negative, given the fact that literally nothing has happened or changed at all.

I find that, a lot of times in recruiting, an extended period of quiet has a way of turning positive sentiment into negative sentiment, even if nothing has actually changed. The fact is that this is a kid who frequently plays his HS games on Saturdays and is taking his recruitment out through February. Given those facts—coupled with the fact that shea and Billy and everyone have remained optimistic—I am pretty confident in saying that we haven’t “fallen out of the race” or anything like that, and this is just a matter a kid taking his time in the way he ALWAYS said he was going to. When you add in the fact that he seems to be a kid with a pretty strong support system and a good head on his shoulders, I really don’t think this one is a situation where he’s getting starry-eyed over a visit elsewhere or one game by a particular team, nor do I think it is a situation where he’s misleading or stringing our staff along with no actual plans to visit. Of all the kids we’re recruiting, this is probably the one kid who, if he says “I’m gonna visit these schools and make my decision in February”, then I’d be shocked if he visited less than all those schools or made a spur-of-the-moment decision prior to February.

Just relax on this one, guys. I’m not saying he’s definitely coming here, but there’s absolutely no reason to think that we’re out of it. If we hear news that he no longer plans to visit, that’s one thing—but for now, I really don’t think silence means much of anything.

This is where the negativity stemmed from. Nothing changing. He's never visited LSU and his visits keep getting rescheduled.

With the early signing period looming, people just assumed he'd never be able to visit beforehand so he probably wasn't coming here.

It's really weird that the negativity continues to linger even after it was confirmed he wasn't signing until February.

His HS games were all on Saturdays and he just finished up his season. He’s taking visits and won’t sign until February. FWIW both Shea and Billy have him in their class predictions.
