Exactly. We beg our players to stay home and play for LSU and then ridicule other recruits who decide to stay home lol. We can’t be bias.

Billy and Shea keep saying there is hope for LSU. It seems their rationale is that there really isn’t any real info or smoke and LSU still have an official visit set up.
The track angle is a big deal too

Did mention LSU at end...
"Harbor, who is the No. 16 player in 247Sports' rankings, is planning to visit LSU in the new year which would leave him with one official remaining."

I watched the video of him a few months ago and he was high on Michigan. Michigan being an undefeated #2 isn't good for us imo. LSU has a much better Track and Field program tho. By a wide margin.

It was more about him staying home at the end of the day

Harbor seems like a great kid with the potential to be a great football player. It seems like he is more into track and field, though, which is concerning.
I have read that he doesn’t want to play DE because he would have to add too much weight, and that he doesn’t like TE because he doesn’t like contact.
Obviously a beast of an athlete, but he seems more focused on track and field and the Olympic setting.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised, but he's more or less impossible to predict. I think it's pretty safe to rule out USC if the girlfriend rumor is true, that's just not a strong pull when it's all said and done, but you can't know what a kid will pick when the kid doesn't know what he wants himself. We're the best choice if he wants to be an Olympian. Michigan is the best choice if he wants to be an MD (or was he the aerospace engineer one? Can't remember, but either way he's a strong student that could get into top schools on his academic merits and wants to do a real degree). Maryland is home. Those are all compelling reasons to go there.

In my opinion…this kid is a “ WANT “ not a “ NEED “ …he’s lagniappe

quote:yes Stefon Diggs, DJ Moore and Yannick Ngakoue are the most notables, but they also have Darnell Savage and that TE for the Titans Okonkwo who's doing pretty good as a rookie.
Aspirations of playing in the NFL and Maryland in the same sentence
They have had a good trio of WRs at Maryland right now, but they regressed in passing this year. Really they had just as good if not better efficiency in passing, but they haven't thrown as much nor have they been as effective in scoring. Trust me, they can be elite at passing as shown last year and they do utilize their TEs. Last year their TE was 2nd in catches with 52 (wide margin compared to the #3), and this year in 12 games a new TE is 2nd (2 WRs tied for first) in catches with 35.
Dude could be a monster at Maryland.
I'd love for him to come over here though, but the amount of mouths to feed are numerous.

If he doesn't get fonged or it comes from Julie boudwin or Sam spiegs then it ain't happening for lsu

Solid point there brother, though to be fair, that can be a single draft for LSU and that’s over a seven year period for Maryland. Terrific insight overall, he can be a monster anywhere I’d imagine, but under Kelly and Denbrock, he’d be that much better developed.

He has been SC for a while. I could tell.

I’ve always wondered why LSU doesn’t promote Dr Andrew’s as an alum more often. I know he works for both Auburn and Bama but he’s an LSU Tiger. I believe he was an all SEC track athlete
Ochsner is running tons of TV ads promoting the new Ochsner Andrews Sports Medicine Institute so maybe they will in the future
