In December.
He's been doing this too long to act like this. Sheesh Charles, get it together.

Imo he made some legitimate points. Did say "we'll see how it plays out come February"

It would be one thing if we weren’t getting the stars AND weren’t filling glaring needs with guys the coaches have evaluated and want. That isn’t the case here.

We had no room for error and had to address the glaring needs up front in both sides. We succeeded and next season is going to be skill position city.
We get Marshall in this class with Kelvin Joseph and Surtain with possibly Chase flipping it can't be seen as anything other than victory.

All he said was that he expected a bit better with the recruiting.
And this was based on the fact that with all of the coaching changes in the league, LSU should be taking greater advantage on the recruiting trail. And that hasn’t appeared to be the case.

He actually liked the linemen that we signed.

Then what does he not like?

Well, most of the coaching changes did not occur until recently, so I'm not sure why he thinks LSU should have been able to capitalize on them.

He doesn't like it that they aren't all 4 or 5 star rated?
Rosenthal and Scott are highly underrated because they played for a traditional public school the size of a peanut. Had they played at some glitzy prep school the recruit niks would have drooled all over them both.
As I said, we get Marshall, Josepth, Surtain, and possibly Chase, there can be no denying this class was a complete success.

When tiger fans aren’t complaining about Saban stealing players from LA. it’s a down year in the state.

He's a star gazer apparently.

It's calling to Charlie:

See my earlier post. It was the fact that LSU doesn’t have a higher rated class. They were sold on O being someone who can recruit at a high level, and they are not fully seeing the results at the moment. He and Jimmy though are banking in on the 2019 class. Jimmy though, was concerned that with the lack of a passing game still present under the watch of O, that recruiting, even in the future could still suffer.

Probably the QB situation to start , add in the fact there is no sure fire star like LF/guice at Rb then thats a good start. If LSU lands a couple of top Db's and WR's then this class will be top 10. Miss on these guys then this will be an average class that may well be a great class in 2 or 3 years but not many 1st year impact guys from the looks of it.Minus the JC guys. Would have been nice to get a star LBer for this class with White Leaving after next year as well. Kinda worries me LSU seems to be putting alot of eggs in one basket with the 2019 La.class. We all know their will be a lot of competition for the LA. boys in 2019.

And what if we get 1 or 2?

Will still be solid, but not as good of a finish I would have hoped.
As for today I have no reason to be upset or down about who we have signed.

We are 6 hours into the first day of the early signing period. Jesus.

Screw Chase, I really don't think he wants to come to LSU. He talks about everyone else except LSU, always putting LSU off, you want a kid that wants to be there. I'd be fine with Marshall and the kid from Mcd 35 Keys III, I think that kid has jets and can fly.
as for the class overall, the ones that have signed are solid players. If they finish with something like Marshall, Keys III, Joiner, Surtain, Beal, and steal maybe a Cooks or even get Kelvin Joseph back, and that is a really solid class going into the ridiculously talented 2019 class.
