Bama fans feel confident about everyone. I’m not saying they shouldn’t, but I’d be very surprised if they get both of these kids. I am expecting them to get one and us get one.

Hilarious. Bama fans feel confident about every prospect high on their board. To be fair, they usually get all the top prospects on their board, but the point is that they also feel that way about the few they miss on.

I didn't read any post in this thread after this, so if I'm parroting other posters sorry. The only big time battle we won with bama over an LA kid that went to the last day(s) that I can remember is Fournette. These guys always pick bama late because they don't want to play their senior yr here as bama recruits and all the negatives that surround that. Just my opinion.

Yeah many Negatigers think Tim Watts is a God. The guy does not hand out CBs until he gets confirmation from handlers and REC bagmen that the money has been wired to the off shore accounts. That is it in a nutshell. They like to fool their own and our own clueless ones in thinking that they are actually that good in reading the minds of recruits. Pathetic LOL!

Probably knows the booster the REC has pegged with handling the payment and knows how far they are willing to go. They assume we won't match.

Sometimes that is the case, sometimes not. It also goes back to negotiating the best bid out of them.

That is a shame. The two Bama fans I know in real life rarely follow recruiting at all. Those are the better ones. The ones who do are the worst. They are the ones living in a dream world where they get every recruit from number 1 to 25 every year which of course they don't. Our Negatigers just think they do in their fantasies.

Roy and Guillory are both going to Bama unless something drastically changes. We need to look elsewhere to fill our d line.

Lee didn't have a commitable offer to Bama. Not sure about Davis-Price but I don't think they needed him either.

You’re right, I’ve been imagining players leaving the state to go there.,
They have, however gotten more here than any other school from this state that we wanted and at times needed badly.

You mentioned “badly” yet some had non committable offers.
We beat them for White, Beckwith, Fournette and Stingley. These are the ones they full court pressed on.
They took Robinson, Moses, Buggs, Luther Davis, Jones( we did better with Adams), and managed to take out of state kids that were shoe ins for us, Sartain, Womack, and just this cycle Demouy.

I’m not linking their shite but the same dude from BOL that has had the inside track on Louisiana kids for the past 3 years has said both are going to Bama after recent visits. Another heavy reliable insider for LSU concedes we arnt in a good spot. The writing is on the wall with Guillory after pushing his decision until after signing day. Roy decommitted for a reason. The sooner you accept they are gone and we need to replace them with prospects like Apu last year you will be happier for it.
