That's the bigger story. LSU always got most of its recruits from Louisiana and East rather than West. We usually pluck a few here and there from Texas. Charlie is letting Sumlin get everybody in Texas. They better turn it around soon.

I like how the kids build that momentum.....would like to see these La kids do it and not drag it out til NSD.
Maybe A&M could help us all out and suck this year....

We'll just see how good they are this season. If they go 8-5 I bet a lot of these guys will be back on the market

Sumlin is probably hoping they see the bigger picture. I remember how Saban had recruits buying in immediately after he got to Bama. He had the #1 ranked classes his first two full years of recruiting at Bama.
They are building defense and the trenches, getting their QB of the future, stockpiling ridiculous WR talent, and really only need one big (and I mean that literally) RB recruit. I think they finish off the five stars this year with Jefferson and Sheffield.
It's going to be pure hell trying to win the West in 2-3 years. This could possibly be the second year in a row where four teams from the same division are in the top 8. Last year All four were in the top 6! That is ridiculous talent hoarding.
