ive seen on here where bama fans have stated they are the front runner and sure to land greg reid. they might think this but according to GREG REID someone else is the front runner for his services. i got this from espn.

It's Bama, so what can you expect. They lead for everyone and never miss on DBs because ALL DBs want to play for the great one.

When was that quote given by Reid? I do not think that Reid will sign with Alabama on signing day, but according to some "insiders" it appears that we have made up enough ground to be considered in his top 3.

i just think its funny how all bama fans "know" they will get reid. reid doesnt even list him in his top 3 and they still think he is a bama lock

Not saying we get him but I'm almost positive that quote was before his official visit to Bama this last weekend. He said he wasn't expecting to like Bama but we blew him away and are now a leader...
I hear UGA has scared him away and that it's now between Bama and FSU for his signature.

All the Experts have FSU for this kid
Bama is just out in there in left feild, it's makes them feel better after being owned by Utah
But they don't seem to realize it just builds up more dissappointment in the end

believe it if you want, my friend talked to greg this morning. saban visited last night, his mother loved him. greg loves tuscaloosa, but his mom didnt want him far away. saban assured his mother he would be fine. greg wants to play for saban and my friend told me hes all bama right now, but hes visiting georgia this weekend. last weekend in tuscaloosa he was talking trash about georgia, says bamas recruiting is on another level than georgia. isnt impressed by martinez and richt, actually showed an email from martinez that was rather pathetic. hes leaning bama right now, but anything can happen. this is coming from someone that talked to him THIS MORNING.

The 22nd was after his OV to FSU and before his OV to Bama. I believe that in the end he signs with Diddy.
If you read the article on BamaOnline about Saban's in home visit Reid is quoted as saying "He did answer a lot of my mom's questions but for me he said he wouldn't guarantee me a starting position but I can compete for one. That's all I wanted to ask." I think that Reid wants someone to guarantee him a starting spot and that Diddy would give him that guarantee.

Reid is going to FSU barring a miracle. Bama fans claim they lead for everyone. I get so sick of this myopic pollyanna-ish view. Its not that sad that some Bama fans claim they lead for "everyone" but its amazing so many gumps actually fall for it and believe it.

fair enough. i was impressed with his highlight film, but im not very aware of the other top prospects in LA next year. oh well it really doesnt matter because greg reid is coming to bama.

greg knows hes good enough to come in and play next year, thats not a factor for him. he wants to return kicks and with javy being a senior those duties could be passed down to him.
