Stop your melt. Jesus. Did y’all actually THINK we were gonna get Amite kids? Come the F on! Delusion at its finest. Devonta Lee was a leftover crumb after Pettito and the handlers ate their way through that Fkin sleazy arse ghetto. Lee doesn’t “love” lsu. He got a consolation prize after Bama ran out of room. Damnit, they’ve got Devonta Smith, Sam Pettito and the Barber. They all have rings. Amite is gone right now. Untouchable. Us “old timers” remember how Terry Bowden built a sewer pipeline to Dillard high in Ft. Lauderdale. It happens. Do you think south Florida kids would pick Auburn over the U, FSU and fla in the 90’s? If you’re surprised by any of this, I feel bad for you. It was all a ploy. Only thing that didn’t work was us wasting a scholly on Rodney while Saban laughs with fat arse brother in hand.

Two things.

1. We got Devonta Lee, who was the best player on Amite's team this year. Kentucky got the second best player, who was the QB.

2. Amite has 4,000 people in it. Amite isn't going to have a top-level SEC recruit in the next 3-5 years, minimum.

There is nothing to be upset about here.

But why can't O use political forces to break up these Saban pipelines? When Saban hires someone like Pettito it's time to up the ante and bust up these Saban connections. JBE has a lot of power in this state. He could have used it in a good way...a way that is not corrupt.

It’s not about whether we thought we were gonna get him or not. The coaching staff thought we were gonna get him. They were wrong. It’s a position of need by orgeron’s own proclamation at the December signing press conference. They’ve been wrong quite a few times lately with impact dlinemen.

I see Fonua as a linebacker. We needed dlinemen. We struck out on 4 that we brought in on visits. More needed to be done. More players needed to be considered, especially when you continually can’t determine when someone is playing you.

Ok so why is it that our coaches aren’t as smart as you? I’m melting because the coaches act like they had no clue.

Relax. Based on his girth and cigar habit, the barber will be dead in a few years.

Yet our coaching staff keeps falling for it.

So everyone would rather the coaches let it be known that all offers have been pulled from kids like this? Then the fans would melt because the staff isn't going after them.

The coaches can only go on their gut. You can’t turn em away. He’s a position of need in our own backyard. It’s like the troubled kid with the risky behavior and grades. If you stay away and he winds up being a well behaved, eligible student who excels in the field at another U, people want answers. If you sign hem and they are scum, people want answers. Jesus, these coaches are basing their entire livelihood on fickle 18 year olds that fall for empty promises, sales pitches and fairy dust bullshite. It’s reciprocal. Rodney will never step foot in a crimson uniform and Ish will be in portal in 2 years.

Sure there is. LSU missed out on a huge position of need in order to challenge Bama and we lost him to Bama.
