I wouldn't expect anything until after NSD.
Miles gets extra visits when you are down a man on the staff, so I think he's trying to take advantage of that.
Plus, recruiting is pretty much 24/7 this time of year. Tough to squeeze in an interview with anyone, I would think.

Thomas McGaughey-
Incomplete. Don't see any recruits attached to him.
Isn't he Corey Thompson's recruiter? If he can pull Thompson away from A&M that's pretty good for his first year on the staff.

Thanks.
I hope the rumors of Ensminger and Krag working with the receivers is nothing but baseless speculation.

Really?
I hadn't even seen that.
Personally, I'm hoping we hire some young gun from the NFL that is an offensive assistant... much like we did with McCgauhey.

McGaughey was hired on March 9th.
I would imagine the same type of time frame for WR coach, unless Les already has someone specific in mind.

I saw it on a thread in the Coaching Changes board. Obviously not the most credible source
, and it definitely sounds like a worst-case scenario.
The staff needs 1 more elite recruiter.

burns would be the ideal candidate.
let burns have north LA and let him chip in where necessary in NOLA.
it just baffles me that we have a guy like ensminger on staff battling it out against a recruiting heavyweight like a burns or luper.

why does Burns' name keep coming up? why would he leave Bama?

i doubt he'd leave.
but it's a name that's an obvious choice. NOLA ties, strong position coach, great recruiter.

he aint leaving bama, hes the asst head coach too
we need someone with national ties. Texas or florida, not NOLA.

I don't know if his name has been mentioned...but what about Tyke Tolbert?
I remember his name being greatly discussed right before we hired Gonzo. Is he still a possibility?

Burns would be boss, but there's zero incentive for him to come here, unless we're going to offer him some serious cheddar.
I wish Les could lure Charlie Baggett out of retirement... that would be a slam dunk...

I either want a beast recruiter and OK coach.
Or
A beast coach and decent recruiter. Plus fur ensminger and get another elite recruiter.

Mcgaughey was hired in March because Joe rob left in mid feb.
I expect les to hire some one no later than 2 weeks after nsd.
