Who from TX does LSU legitimately want besides RSJ?

We have 4-5 that you offered but I'm not sure how serious you were (or maybe they weren't serious about you and you moved on like Manning). Every player that both LSU and A&M offered went to the home team this year so far. I expect that will change next year bc you are in good shape with several LA transplants and we appear in good shape with a couple of LA kids.

J Washington and T Quinn off the top of my head. We may not land them, just saying we are in pretty good with them. I've heard positives on Noil as well but I've also heard he's a stone cold LSU lock so I dunno on that one.

Slim IMO; especially with Quinn

I would be absolutely shocked if Quinn went anywhere but LSU. Lot's of his friends on both the football and baseball side will be at LSU. He's come close to committing before. Probably does so in January at our more exclusive Jr day thing.

Washington is more of a possibility.

I don't see Noil leaving the state either, but I'd put him between Quinn and Wash for how likely they are to come to LSU IMO.

Louisiana's WR class for '14 is just sick. Quinn, Noil, Dupre, and Sims, with Washington at TE. All different styles with different abilities. I'd like to see LSU get them all, obviously.

Doubtful on Quinn. His dad went to LSU, sister goes here, his teammate Desean Smith is committed for this year. Not saying impossible, but that's a lot to overcome that is pushing in this direction.

absolutely. The Texas DB class is loaded as well. I think both schools fill their needs at these positions in both states honestly. Almost all of these kids' top 2 are A&M/LSU in whatever order.

Clearly we are going hard in LA on WR as it doesn't appear (at least as of yet) that we've shown much love to the ones in Texas for next year (we've only offered 2 - KD Cannon who is probably going to UTx and Jamal Jeffrey from Lufkin who we should get)

The sooner you boys accept that RSJ is gonna be an Ag, y'all will feel better.

He was at the Bama game, and came back with some LSU WR gloves to wear for his last HS game, but he was worried if he wore "official" LSU team issued gloves he'd get busted so he wore the "non official" TAMU gloves he already had, but took them off at halftime. Another positive note...after the Bama game he told his family that LSU is his #1 choice. He said Evans and JFF would be most of the TAMU offense in 2013+, he felt he would have more "results" playing at LSU.

Caveat: he is very close to his family. Locale could be a factor.

When Quinn was first offered, his dad said he'd end it pretty quick. That was like 5 months ago

He returns with pretty much good news

That's only a little over 5 hour drive and they could probably get cheap plane tickets from Houston if they plan ahead.

HoustonGumbeaux, if you want to become a Recruiting Board legend, you offer to drive his parents to every LSU home game

Hell, I will do that...

Load them up in my 2012 fully loaded Yukon and stroll to Tiger stadium with beer and wine ice down in the back...

I live in Texas and I have a very good source that says Tony Brown is all LSU right now and that it would be a shock if he went anywhere else!
